When a notorious human trafficker is set free on a technicality, undercover agent Noah Wolf sets his sights on the cybersecurity expert working for the crime ring. While Mia Milan has a clean record, the inside knowledge she is in possession of could be enough to put her boss permanently behind bars. It’s up to Noah to get close to her and convince her to turn up the state’s evidence. Yet the more he learns about the beautiful tech genius, the more dangerous the case becomes.
Mia Milan was checking items off her bucket list as she drove to Miami after being hired to install security software. Now, she’s caught between her client’s seedy empire and the man desperate to stop human trafficking.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Story
After watching my mother succumb to a mysterious illness, I promised myself two things. I'd find the cure for what ravaged her and leave the godforsaken city where she abandoned me. Four years later, I received an acceptance letter from Dracadia University, one of the oldest most prestigious schools in the country. Nestled on a secluded island off the coast of Maine, it's rumored to be haunted by the souls of the mental patients exiled there centuries before, those whose bones are said to make up the island's white sandy shores. And restless ghosts aren't even its most daunting peculiarity.

Story
Hockey coach Ashley Jaswal doesn't take nonsense from anyone … except her overbearing and superstitious family. They believe she's a good luck charm for her brother Jas, the newest Vancouver Canucks draft pick, forcing Ash to attend all his games as he rises up the NHL ranks, sacrificing her personal life (not that she has one—who decided hockey season needed to be 10 months long anyway?). Ash also clashes with Jas’s teammate, Canucks captain Devin Snyder.

Fantastic!
What a phenomenal story! The characters are very well constructed and the have depth and chemistry. There are many twists and turns to this story with action and adventure. This has a great plot and I enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to reading the rest of this series “Army Rangers”. Liz Krane does a fantastic job narrating this book.

Loved this!
This was such a good book! It holds intrigue, romance, suspense and brings it all together well. It combines a previous Army Ranger, billionaire, a smart woman who owns her own business; who doesn't love these things. They take on a human trafficking ring... no giveaways here 🙂.

My thoughts on this book:
• There were many twists and turns to this plot, which kept my interest all the way to the end. This book was not predictable and it kept me guessing where the plot was headed next.
• I enjoyed the main characters Noah and Mia. They had interesting personalities and were characters with moral values.
• The descriptions of locations and emotions were well done, easy to visualize, and to feel. I felt a part of the scenes.
• This was a clean action/romance and I appreciated that fact.
At my request, I was given a free copy of this audiobook from the author. I have voluntarily left my review and my opinions were my own. I recommend this book to those who like clean suspenseful romance.

Adorable story, loved the narrator and Bree
Bree Livingston had me hooked on her writing way back when she only had a few books published. I'd love to say that I have read everything she writes but she writes too fast and I can't keep up! She's an amazing person in addition to an amazing writer! The narrator for this audio book was fantastic also!

Sweet contemporary romance
I have a several books by this author but this is the first one that I have “read”. I enjoyed this book. It is a contemporary whirlwind romance with a bit of danger. Mia is a computer “nerd” that has a business protecting computers. Noah is an ex-army ranger. He is assigned to follow her to get information on a sex trafficker they are trying to bring down. Mia is the one hired to protect the computer programs for the man they are after. Noah and Mia weren’t expecting to find love. And Noah has too many secrets he has to his from Mia. It is a sweet clean read.
The narrator does a good job. One side character voice I had a hard time determine if it was a guy or girl but otherwise she has a very pleasant voice.

Good people in bad situations
It's a good thing that Noah is good at reading people, or the rest of the Guardian Group might still believe Mia was working with Harrison, not just for him... Yet Noah's gut won't leave him alone, and soon his heart follows what his gut is telling him. Mia may be so much more than he ever realized.
Mia's been hurt by lying men before, and she's bound and determined not to be conned again. But she may be just playing a bit too far out of her league. And what would her grandmother say!
I really enjoyed watching Noah and Mia sort through their confusion, fears and feelings, especially with the added complexities of a human trafficking ring that needs to be stopped.
As much as there was a lot going on in the story, everything had its place and it never felt forced or rushed. I'd happily listen to another book in this series.

Noah and Mia
I always enjoy a good Bree Livingston romance but I’d have to say this one is my favorite. Noah has a good heart and puts doing the right thing above all else. Mia is caught n the middle of a dangerous operation. I enjoyed the action and suspense in this clean romantic suspense.
