Publisher's summary

Can this skeptical player let down his guard long enough to let love into his life, or is this forbidden romance a train wreck in the making?

Ryan James doesn’t believe in love.

It’s a truth he learned early in life. A truth he carried with him into adulthood. He broke his golden rule one time, but Myndi trampled all over his heart, cementing his belief that love is a lie and not worth the effort.

Now he’s returned to his cynical views and promiscuous lifestyle, racking up more notches on his bedpost than he can count.

Until Summer Petersen comes crashing into his world, threatening to knock down his walls with her tempting body and sunny, sweet personality.

Summer is determined to lose her V-card before she starts freshman year of college, and the hot, older guy with the cute dimples, dazzling smile, and rippling biceps is just the man for the job. Ryan doesn’t take much persuading, and he rocks her world, giving her a night to remember.

When they walk away, there’s an unspoken agreement it was a one-time thing. Ryan doesn’t do feelings, and Summer doesn’t want to be tied down at 18.

But when she moves into her brother Austin’s apartment, she’s shocked to discover her new roomie is the guy who recently popped her cherry.

Ryan can’t believe he slept with Austin’s baby sister, and if he finds out, he’ll literally kill him. Keeping their hook up a secret is nonnegotiable. Keeping his thoughts, and his hands, off Summer, less so. Because the longer he’s around her, the more he finds himself catching feelings for the gorgeous brunette.

Summer doesn’t want to care for her older brother’s best friend, but Ryan makes her feel things she’s never felt before, and she’s slowly falling under his spell.

Embarking on an illicit affair behind Austin’s back has train wreck written all over it, but provided they keep their feelings in check, they can end this before he ever finds out.

It’s not like either of them is in love.

Right?

This is a full length stand-alone new adult romance. Not recommended for listeners under the age of 18 due to mature content. This is the second audiobook in a duet, although both audiobooks can be listened to as stand-alone romances as they focus on different couples.

His last name is James

So glad to read Ryan’s story

I felt big time for the man. The story was alright, the angst Ryan suffered was tear worthy( as in I cried for him) I loved hearing updates on the Gabby and Slater, Billy and the baby(Daisy) and the other characters we grew to love in When Forever Changes.
I was disappointed in the narration. The male narrator’s voice lilted up at the end of every sentence and the female didnt have much true sounding emotion.
To be honest I wish I had read this. I never felt like the male narrator sounded the way Ryan would.
This HEA was a good one!”

Perfection

I absolutely love this story and these characters! The love they share is so strong! It was a roller coaster of emotion I went though while listening and I absolutely adored all the push and pull. The voice were perfection and truly matched the characters.

So many feels!

I just love everything Siobhan writes and this is no exception. It's such a sweet love story. It's not all roses and sunshine though. There is a bit of heartbreak but so much love. I absolutely love Summer. Her character is so sweet and carefree. She wants to live her life for her self after being smothered by older brothers. She doesn't care about what other people think about her. She just wants to live a full life. Ryan has been a player after having had his heartbroken. He has lots of healing to do and Summer is just the person to help him. He doesn't realize after a one night stand how quickly his life will change. There's also some girl drama with Summer's best friend. A little bit of everything and an amazing story!

The narrators do an awesome job on this story.

It’s ok not bad but definitely not great the story was one I hadn’t heard before but everything else was kinda predictable & the narration was blah. It has some triggers to sensitive readers regarding loss, betrayal but it ends with an HEA. Is it worth the credit? It’s a maybe, after listening to it all I think I would’ve passed but if this review intrigues you then go for it & enjoy!

So so good!!!

This book is full of feelings you can't help but feel. These two characters think they can have a one night stand with no feelings and they do until Summer moves into her brother's house and sees who her new roommate will be. Ryan her one night stand. They both agree to keep that night to themselves because Summer's brother will kill them if he finds out what happened. Well staying away from each other is harder then they thought and boy do things get hot and steamy behind the brother's back. The only problem is their feelings grow more and more and before long they have a hard time hiding them. You honestly must listen to this story it was awesome as usual when it comes to Siobhan's books. This was definitely a great book and you won't be disappointed. You will love the narration also it just brings the stories to life even more.

Great story, not so great narration

Loved the story!!! Not that impressed with the narration. I am a fool for a good brother's best friend romance. This story had all the things I love about them! I was really excited to finally get a story about Ryan! And to find out what the heck happened with him and Mindy (his sister's friend that he had been dating for a while). The sexual tension between Summer and Ryan is fantastic! Their banter is hilarious. I really love Summer's confidence! There were a few things that happened that really should have brought a tear to my eye, but I wasn't feeling any kind of emotion from the narrators, so it didn't hit me the same. And the revelations didn't hit the same either. I think that some day I will have to read the book myself and it will probably pull the emotions out of me.... whenever I do I will make sure to come add to my review. All in all I did love the story. And I would recommend it to people, especially people who love the brother's best friend books!

No Feelings Involved

This is the second book in the Forever Love duet. The first book is about Gabby. This book is about Ryan Gabby’s brother. Ryan has hang ups from his childhood that has kept him from fully settling down and being in a long term committed relationship. Summer has waited to lose her V-card to an experienced lover. The summer before college she goes on a hunt for an older guy to hook up with. No strings attached. Summer and Ryan were instantly attracted to each other. Then Summer had to move in with her older brother and his roommate. That roommate was Ryan her one night fling she hasn’t been able to stop thinking about. I loved this book. It my have an unexpected trigger for few people. Lia Holland and Dash Coleman did a fantastic job narrating this book.

No Feelings Involved

No Feelings Involved is the second book in the Forever Love duet. This book is told from dual points of view from Summer and Ryan.

Summer is out with her friends before starting college and she wants to lose her v card before starting College. She meets a guy and they have one amazing night together. Then they split ways.

Now at College Summer movies with her older brother and his business partner. When lo and behold the roommate is the guy she spent the night with. Ryan realizes that the person he can't stop thinking about is his best friend's little sister.

Will them living in such close quarters make them fall for each other? Can they keep what happened between them from her brother? What sorts of battles will they have to face?

I loved getting to know Summer and Ryan, but boy was this an emotional roller coaster. My feelings went all over the place with this one, however, it was an amazing book, and I'd recommend it to everyone!

Deeply moving story!!

No Feelings Involved, an Audiobook by Siobhan Davis the moving story of Ryan and Summer. She is headed to college and needs a place to stay. Her brother offers a room in the house he shares with his best friend and business partner, Ryan. Neither of them realize that they already know one another.

This is a stunning read that pulled emotions out of every pore in my body. My heart ached for them and the relationship they are denied…and sabotaged….by their own hands. Magnificent story!!!

This Audiobook was beautifully narrated by Lia Holland and Dash Coleman. They both were able to capture the emotions and feelings of the characters with aplomb. They gave more life to an already incredible story!!! Excellent performances!!

I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this Audiobook.

No feelings involved

This is #2 in the Forever Love duet and can be read alone because each book is about a different couple but, honestly why would you want to? Siobhan's books are always amazing and you don't want to miss them with that being said this story is about Ryan & Summer's forbidden romance and it was so good. Summer is about to start college and wants to lose her V-card. Who better to help her than Ryan, her brother's best friend. Yes, this book is as juicy as it sounds and you do not want to miss it!
