Such practical advice.

Get to the core of the problem. Tell it like it really is. Acknowledge the issues you have, and we all have them. This audiobook has a lot of help for people that are not necessarily struggling with depression, but it can be as a basic educational resource for everyone who wants to know more about depression — giving a lot of practical instruction. Everyone can benefit from such practical advice.

A very important and helpful book.

This audio book helped me. It contains lots of real information that you can immediately use, and it is presented clearly and simply -- easy to access. These things are crucial when you are depressed and trying to find help. I am highly educated and understand many things, but in a recent too-long episode of deep clinical depression, I found it hard even to read at all, so I listened to the audio version. And this book really gave me some help. So I highly recommend it. If you're depressed yourself, just read one page at a time. If you're reading it for someone else, it will really give you things you can use.

While listening to it,

While listening to it, I didn't know that others felt the way I was feeling, but it was all right there in the book. An extremely well-written and narrated audiobook with lots of things to consider if you are depressed yourself. It made me feel very well understood and it never felt like a slap in the face. It also has an excellent section for friends, family, and significant others to understand and help aid depressed people. If you're struggling right now just try to listen/read as you can, and I think you'll definitely get something out of it.

It is great listening with good explanations.

"Nature of Depression" is the same useful audiobook as "Nature of Panic Attack," my previous book by A. Glenn I started with. It is great listening with good explanations. I have already started feeling better one week into starting some of the practices from the "Nature of Panic Attack." I didn't know about such simple technics as "breathing into/out of the bag" and simple "chewing gum method," that could be used as a practice to change the focus and decrease anxiety. I found "Nature of Depression" easy to read and listen, well written/narrated and organized, and not full of the hype that is found in many self-help books. But most of all, I found it incredibly relevant and useful, lots of well researched/evidenced methods to decrease susceptibility to depression were included in this book. "Nature of Depression" is an excellent audiobook for sufferers from depression and their family members to understand the feelings, processes of healing, and understandings that everything will be just okay. Follow the treatment, give some time, and you will be back into normal life! I can recommend it!

Good method.

The author starts by making us understand what depression and the methods to cure. The focus of the book is to provide knowledge for overcoming depression by making small steps. I have suffered from depression for a long time, and I am always looking for new ways to cope with my depression. I have read and listened to other books on depression, but this one is the only one that is actually making a noticeable and positive change in my life. I really hope this audiobook has widely listened and many people benefit from it.

This audiobook is worth sharing, and I will surely recommend this to my family and friends.
