About this listen

Have you been down all the rabbit trails learning about narcissism but don’t feel any more recovered from the soul-crushing abuse you experienced?

Love-bombing, gaslighting, stonewalling, bread-crumbing, emotional manipulation.

You’ve done the research.

But have you heard of sensory processing sensitivity?

Those who have this less common personality trait are known as Highly Sensitive Persons (or HSPs).

HSPs process and feel things in a deeper way than most people and this makes them highly susceptible to narcissistic abuse!

In this book, discover….

  • Seven healthy habits HSPs need to rebuild a beautiful life and never be trapped in a narcissistic relationship ever again!
  • What sensory processing sensitivity is and how to know if you have the trait
  • How to set boundaries and why you need to hold a sacred space for yourself
  • Why narcissists prey on HSPs and sure-fire ways to know if your relationship is healthy or toxic
  • A life-changing practical way to always feel at peace in your own home.

The author used these exact strategies to recover after a 5-year marriage to a covert narcissist and they will work for you too.

Even if you are not ready to go “no-contact” with the narcissist in your life.

Even if you have given up on being in a healthy relationship in which you are truly loved and valued for who you are.

And even if the abuse happened years ago or continues from a family member.

It’s time to discover the beauty and the value you bring to the world.

HSP, you have a beautiful gift to give to the world, but you’ll never reach your full potential until you learn to love and hold space for yourself before you give to others.

Good recovery book for HSPs

Life as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I would definitely recommend this audiobook for anyone, especially HSPs who are in an abusive Narcissistic relationship. The audiobook covers what this type of relationship is and why you need to get out of it. And strategies for seeking recovery. How to set boundaries and pick your friends who support you. Why you need to cut your relationships with those who would have you return to the abusive relationship. It teaches you how to grieve and rebuild yourself to overcome the abuse through positive affirmations and mindfulness. Along with how to set up boundaries that will keep you safe. An excellent book and will teach you a lot about yourself and your own type of personality.

Onwards & Up

I was definitely taken by surprise when I heard the soft voice of this beautiful narrator; it pulled me straight into a transformative trance, a rich listening experience where I was able to continue my healing journey outside of the therapist's office. Any highly sensitive individual who has had a connection with a narcissist will know just how difficult it is to put the pieces of ourselves back together once the damage has been done. This recovery book is your self-care prescription, as it is like a loved one holding your hand and guiding you on the journey back to yourself.

Great Relationship Recovery Tool

This isn’t just a relationship recovery book, or a recovery book from a narcissist, but one that focuses on HSPs or the highly sensitive person. These days I’m hearing HSP a lot more, and it’s a real thing, or as the author Loralee describes, a real trait. If you’re not sure whether you are one, I highly recommend giving this book a listen, she describes this trait in great deal.

What I like about her description is that she differentiate it from other similar traits, behaviors, and disorders like empath, autism, or sensory processing disorder, and how this isn’t a disorder but rather a trait. It’s not done in a way to put you in a box, but to help you understand why you have had the challenges you’ve experienced and not recreate them.

As I was listening, I started thinking how all this would apply to the Myers-Briggs one of the most popular and believed to be accurate personality tests. Sure enough she dedicates an entire chapter to it. This is just the start of the book, you’ll learn a lot more like traits of a narcissist, how they manipulate people, why HSPs so easily fall for their manipulation, and ways to recover from such relationship. Overall very insightful and helpful for anyone recovering from a relationship, narcissistic, HSP, or not!

Fantastic Book!!!

Narcissistic Abuse Recovery: A New Life Of Beauty And Peace For The HSP" is an exceptional audiobook that offers valuable insights and practical strategies for individuals who have experienced narcissistic abuse. The author, Loralee Jean, does an excellent job of explaining the dynamics of narcissistic abuse and how it can affect highly sensitive individuals.

What I found particularly impressive about this audiobook was how accessible it was. Despite the complex and emotional nature of the topic, Jean’s writing style was clear and straightforward, making it easy for listeners to understand and follow along. She provides a wealth of information and tools for healing, including tips on building self-esteem, setting boundaries, and overcoming trauma.

As someone who has personally experienced narcissistic abuse, I found this audiobook to be incredibly validating and empowering. It helped me to better understand the patterns and behaviors of the abuser, and gave me a sense of hope that recovery and healing are possible.

Overall, I highly recommend "Narcissistic Abuse Recovery: A New Life Of Beauty And Peace For The HSP" to anyone who has experienced narcissistic abuse, or anyone who wants to better understand this complex and destructive form of abuse. Your Bridge Back To Yourself

We've all heard how vulnerability is the only bridge to build a connection. Not only is this true, it is the basis for this honest and thorough book. The author is extremely well informed on the topic and is also able to speak candidly from a position of experience. Compassionately written and beautifully narrated, this recovery guide sheds valuable light on the highly sensitive personality type in a way that helps readers identify these characteristics in themselves and in their loved ones. Even if you aren't a classic "HSP," you will benefit from the chapters on self care, setting boundaries and identifying and championing your core values. I especially liked the chapter on healthy love - what that looks like in comparison to unhealthy narcissistic love and how to recognize healthy love so you can attain it and grow it in a fresh relationship. I also applaud the author for taking her mission even further by offering her readers a free recovery workbook and access to her vibrant online support group. In this wonderful book, "Recovery" is not just a buzzword - it is a true possibility for those willing to partner with the author and follow the steps she lovingly outlines. Highly Recommend!

I can't say enough wonderful things...

Where to start with this book??!....this is the perfect accompaniment for any highly sensitive person who has stepped away from an abusive relationship with a narcissist. I had never fully considered how different narcissistic abuse could be for someone who is highly sensitive, but this book really helps to explore the relationship that can exist between those two separate and distinct personalities. I felt like this book took me through an educational process (discussing personality types, behavior patterns, etc.), but it also took me on an emotional journey. There are multiple areas in the book for you to reflect on your own life and experience and make efforts to make your life more comfortable in the aftermath of an abusive relationship. The author shared a lot of personal experience, which made the book intensely relatable. The overwhelming feeling from this book is that of recovery, healing, and learning to enjoy your life again by making healthy choices about the people you allow into your life, your environment, and other aspects of your life that you can regain control over. It's just a beautiful book. The author/narrator has an incredibly soothing voice and when this book ended, I felt like I was going to miss my new friend. :)
