 Immobilienmaklerin Susanne und ihr dicker Kater Charly, der eigentlich nur schwere Knochen hat, sind rundherum zufrieden. Rene, Susannes Exfreund, soll nun das Nachbarhaus verkaufen und kommt dadurch auf die grandiose Idee, seine verlorene Liebe zurückgewinnen zu wollen. Selbst als der Maklerauftrag erfüllt ist, kehrt keine Ruhe in Susannes Leben ein. Im Gegenteil! Der neue Besitzer namens Jan kommt nicht alleine, sondern in Begleitung einer reißenden Bestie auf vier Pfoten. Nicht nur, dass Susanne fortan gemeinsam mit ihrem Kater Todesängste im Garten aussteht, sie muss sich auch noch mit geistlosem Humor und unverschämt gutaussehenden Waschbrettbäuchen jenseits des Gartenzauns herumschlagen.

Liebe kennt keinen Gartenzaun

Wie Katz und Hund - so ist der Grundplot dieser hinreissend witzigen Liebesgeschichte. Immobilienmaklerin Susanne lebt mit ihrem Kater Charly im Haus ihrer Eltern ein entspanntes Leben. Das ändert sich schlagartig als die Nachbarin und großmütterliche Freundin stirbt, denn plötzlich taucht Susannes Ex-Freund, ebenfalls Immobilienmakler, wieder auf und versucht sie zurückzugewinnen. Als wäre das noch nicht genug, wird das Nachbarhaus auch noch an einen (gut aussehenden) Mann mit Dogge verkauft...
