I'm primarily on the go and have a non-mortgage career now. I really desired to pass the MLO exam the first time and needed a product to assist while working. Boy did I find in this program...the laws, terms, the narrator, etc, all made this audio book spot on for convenience and prep...I passed my MLO exam the first time and many have said it's tough to get through it the first time. This audio book is delivers if you don't always have the time to reread your pre-licensing course material...I highly recommend this audio book!!!

The questions and answers are brilliant, ignore what another reviewer was saying - I found them very useful for studying, and are the correct format for the exam. They are also narrated with a good gap in between to give you time to think about the right answer!

Very helpful for the test. I found a few minor errors in the book, such as wrong answer in one question, and repeated choices but it’s not affecting the quality of the whole book. But I do wish it’s read by a more soothing voice instead. The current voice is too harsh and too fast for my first time. I hope I will be more comfortable with it the second time. It’s read so fast, many questions have to be rewinded a few times to understand. That’s why I didn’t rate five stars all across

The overview chapters were well done. I found them easy to follow and had no issues with the speed of the information. That being said, I was focused on listening to it, and not listening while multitasking. A couple of things are slightly outdated, but I assumed that going on based on the date of publication.
The first round of practice test questions were relevant and easy to follow. I was able to make notes along the way of ones that I missed. The second round of practice questions was math based. I was able to pause the narration to do my own calculations, but several times the answer given made no sense. There were also a few questions that just made no sense at all. The third round of practice questions was complete garbage. The narration actually called RESPA the Reproductive Health and Safety Act of 1970. I mean, COME ON. Then several questions later the explanation for every acronym was completely incorrect. There were also a few questions where options A and B were exactly the same, where NONE of the possible answers were relevant to the question, and where the answer given was wrong. I'll likely go back and review some of my missed answers from the first round and hope that it helps when I take the test. I'm glad I got this on a free credit, because if I had paid for it and then heard practice test 3, I'd be demanding my money back.

This study guide is COMPREHENSIVE. When it says complete, it really meant it. I have studied extensively for this exam from a variety of sources, but this study guide still offered a LOT information that I have not even come across yet. This means a lot to me as a final round of preparation before my scheduled exam, which is in just a couple of days.

This guide offered some great test-taking techniques. It also offered info about the online testing requirements, which I haven’t heard from any other courses that I’ve taken.

The information on the guide is mostly up to date, but please keep in mind that some numbers, such as the loan limit, do change annually. So you’d have to do your own research to make sure that you are keeping up with those and have the most up to date numbers.

I also really liked that I was able to choose which chapter to listen to and to play back as much as I needed. It also shows how much time is left for the audio, which was very helpful. I liked the speed of the voice over, but for first timers, it might be helpful to pause, play back and to listen to this a couple of times. I think repetitiveness will really help you ace the exam. The info on this guide is GREAT, repeat and repeat and repeat until you master it. :)

To sum up, I really liked this prep and would definitely recommend using it and listening to this repeatedly. Hope this is helpful. Good luck to myself and to everyone taking the test.

The narrator does not read the full answer, only identifies the answers as A, B or C. etc since this is an audiobook he should read the full answer to the questions otherwise the listener gets lost.

Suggestions

Pros:
- The chapters focus primarily on the outline of what is tested
- Ease of listening in the car or on your phone
- The voice of the narrator

Cons:
- Intro and conclusion, it is nice to hear but not important for exam study
- wish material was more thorough
- there were information in the last exam that just did not make sense or seem irrelevant, acronyms were wrong
-there were glitches in last exam (i.e. an answer option would be repeated twice or “answer” would be at the beginning of a question.
