I am loving this series with all these interconnected storylines/characters! I was super excited to pick this audiobook up on the audible sale and that it was M/M which is a huge guilty pleasure of mine 😍. I enjoyed the premise and seeing the characters come together was so adorable.

I loved how seeing Sammy get this own book and the love that grew between him and Jamie was fabulous. I loved how Sammy taught him to be ok with himself, to let his walls down and to let his loved ones see who he truly was. That they would be ok with it. When he has to come out of the closet they were all right there with him. The chemistry between this two was perfect, loved the steam but also the romantic parts of it. I hope we get to see more of them in the shared universe, they were so stinking’ cute. I enjoyed the rockstar part to the storyline too, with their nicknames 🥰. I loved getting cameos from characters in book 1 but I will say my biggest issue was the new characters that were sorta introduced in the bonus epilogues so I was confused so that took me out of the story quite a bit. Listening to book 3 now I am finally catching up, it was just a lot in a short time and if you are reading/listening in order its pretty overwhelming haha.

Narration was done well, I have listened to one of the narrators quite a bit and I enjoy his performances. The other narrator was a newbie for me and based on his job here I will be listening to more from him in the future! The tension was done well and the pull towards each other that was inevitable was palpable through the audio. The fear and anxiety Jamie had, the eagerness for love and the steam Sammy initiated with Jamie was fire 🔥.

I am already listening to book 3 and am really enjoying it, I don’t know why I waited so long to listen to this series. I am loving the sports romance ❤️

Hope the author does more M/M in the future!
