Becca clenched her jaw.

"I swear to God, if I catch you near my mom or brother with this, I will kill you."

Stef smiled slyly.

"See? You're mommy's little girl after all."

WELCOME TO WHO WANTS TO BE A PAINIAC?, the latest reality TV show on the hunt for the next big-hit serial killer. But don't worry—no one is actually going to murder anyone, as real as the fake gore and pretend murder may appear . . . uh, right?

Seventeen-year-old Becca Martinello is about to find out. When her perfectly normal soccer mom dies in a car crash, a strange girl named Stef appears and lets Becca know that her deceased mom was none other than one of Alcatraz 2.0's most popular serial killers—Molly Mauler. Soon, Becca ends up on Who Wants to Be a Painiac? to learn the truth about her mom's connection to Molly Mauler, but things turn sinister when people are murdered IRL. Will Becca uncover dark secrets and make it out of the deadly reality show alive? Or will she get cut?

the plot twist!

I loved. like that plot but I loved the plot twist and Secrets more. also did anyone else get the vibe the something was sus when he said they had a special bond, it felt like it was implying something else then a daddy daughter bond. or maybe it's me I've to many fucked up stories.

One of the best formed books I've read!

This book left me speechless just like #noescape left me with a slack jaw... 10/10 totally recommend! Gretchen Mcneil is just absolutely incredible at forming her books and I will continue to read and listen to her books... She also has the best plot twists! Overall, one if the best psychological thrillers Ive read!!!

Waisted Money

Seriously one of the top 5 worst things I've ever listened to, the whole series. This was all over the place and parts made absolutely no sense. She names everything like a kid or cartoon would. The worst is what she names the studio. Stu Stu studio is beyond awful and it's said so many times. Heavy on the amount of lesbian characters this time. I'm not sure how old the author is, but she writes like a middle age person and like a teen and an old lady. It's like those were all mixed together. I only bought this because I have to finish a series I start. Oh how I wish I could get that waisted time and the brain space it took up.
