About this listen
The church needs sold-out, all-in Jesus-followers. Disciples and disciple-makers. But where do you find them? How do you develop them? Look no further than how Jesus did it. The greatest leader and mentor of all time poured into 12 guys for a season. Those lives multiplied to build the church to over two billion who declare their belief in Christ today.
Whether you're looking for a disciple-making system that actually works, or a methodology to develop the next generation of leaders for your church, Mentor Like Jesus will help you understand how it can happen. Learn the power of intentionality when it s a part of authentic community...the processes Jesus used and modeled, distilled and activated for the 21st century. Here's a way for more mature believers to find purpose and meaning as they move into the giving back season of life. And a way for the next generation to grow into fully alive, reproducing disciple-makers through Jesus approach to mentoring.

It's the secret to marriage that every couple seeks, and yet few couples ever find. While both men and women deserve both love and respect, in the midst of conflict the driving need for a woman is love and the driving need for a man is respect. When either of these needs isn’t met, things get crazy. Based on over three decades of counseling, as well as scientific and biblical research, Love and Respect is for anyone.

Is it possible to disagree politically and love unconditionally? The reaction of evangelicals to political and cultural shifts in recent years revealed what they value most. Lurking beneath our Bible-laced rhetoric, faith claims, books, and sermons is a relentless drive to WIN! But the church is not here to win. By every human measure, our Savior lost. On purpose. With a purpose. And we are his body. We are not in it to win anything. We are in it for something else entirely. That something else is what this book is about.

A necessary read for every mentor
This book is a necessary read for anyone considering being a mentor. For any church that will be implemented a mentor program should have everyone involved in the program read this as well. It is detailed and explains why and how mentoring someone else is important and beneficial. Although it is geared more towards men mentoring men as a female leader of a nonprofit it was eye opening and beneficial.
