About this listen
Who are the Men in Black? Do they really exist? Let's find out!
Relatively little is known about the Men in Black, also known as MIB, yet the scant few details that have surfaced are enough to send chills up your spine. The eyewitness accounts of their visits, as fleeting as they are, seem to punch us in the gut as soon as we hear them. These narratives play upon our most unsettling fears and sinking suspicions. Indeed, these strange, goose-bump-inducing maestros of mystery seem to be purposefully playing upon our fears like a finely feathered fiddle.
These mysterious figures are notorious for their ability to raise our emotions of dread and anxiety to a fever pitch. Those who’ve undergone the MIB treatment say this is why they suddenly lose their desire to speak out about paranormal events they had witnessed. Did you see something strange in the sky? Do you want to tell all your friends about how amazing it was? Well - a few words from the Men in Black and you may never speak of it again!
If they are working for the US government, then the American-intelligence apparatus is much more sophisticated and farther reaching than even Edward Snowden could have imagined. But most who encounter the Men in Black walk away with the sinking suspicion the mystery of these entities goes much deeper than the deepest of deep state secrets.
Whatever the case may be, you won’t find an audiobook with as detailed a history of this incredible phenomenon anywhere else. So, before the MIB decide to confiscate it, go ahead and listen through this audiobook!

Story
In Dimensions, Dr. Jacques Vallee reexamines the historical record that led to the modern UFO phenomenon and to the belief in alien contact. He then tackles the enigma of abduction reports, which come from various times and various countries, as well as the psychic and spiritual components of the contact experience. In the last portion of the book, he notes the factors that inhibit research into the phenomenon - the triple coverup and political motivations - and concludes that the extraterrestrial theory is simply not strange enough to explain the facts.

What is the nature of unidentified aerial phenomena? Forty years ago a small cadre of dedicated researchers began actively investigating cases, interviewing witnesses, and exchanging data through a small, informal network of international contacts. Today this low-profile network, or "invisible college", has grown into a larger, multination volunteer research effort joined by many individuals. But the questions first raised 40 years ago remain current - and unanswered.

Story
Of the many books on UFOs and aliens, this one may be unique. Richard Dolan, one of the world’s leading historians of the UFO subject, has analyzed the different alien types and agendas based on longstanding patterns observed by witnesses. This is both a careful review of the best evidence we have of human-alien interaction, as well as a bold speculation of just who the aliens are and what they want. Dolan’s analysis starts with our ancient prehistory and potential genetic modifications and monitoring by extraterrestrials.

Story
The 1920s are famous as the golden age of jazz and glamour, but it was also an era of fevered yearning for communion with the spirit world, after the loss of tens of millions in the First World War and the Spanish-flu epidemic. A desperate search for reunion with dead loved ones precipitated a tidal wave of self-proclaimed psychics - and, as reputable media sought stories on occult phenomena, mediums became celebrities.

Story
The Missing JFK Assassination Film is not the typical JFK assassination book. This book does not attempt to answer the question of who killed John F. Kennedy; instead it addresses why we should question the actions of those involved and why the truth was withheld from the people. Though copies of Orville Nix's film exist, the original film is missing. Why? The FBI confiscated Orville's camera for several months, then returned it in pieces. Were these actions sinister, or were they just examples of governmental incompetence?

The Creepy Phenomenon
This was an excellent book about the Men in Black. Well researched with a number of details I hadn't heard before, it is a great introduction to the mysterious phenomena. Truly strange, unusual and somewhat unnerving, it delves into some classic cases and some less known examples. I read this book using immersion reading, while listening to the audiobook. Charles Baker does a wonderful job with the narration, helping to make the book come alive. An enjoyable read/listen.
