About this listen

Gemma:

Supposedly, a sex tape can make a Hollywood career. It killed mine. I was a child actress who didn’t fail miserably after puberty. I didn’t do drugs, rob a bank, or join a cult. I was the youngest actress to ever win an Academy Award. I was on the verge of a great career until one stupid night - caught on tape - brought it all crashing down on me. All I want is to be left alone with my dog...but I can’t keep my eyes or hands off the builder....

Adonis:

My dad gave me the name of a Greek god. I’ve never been able to live up to it. I’ve messed up my life and my sister’s life, and I’ve done the unthinkable. Now, my one and only client, reclusive mega star Gemma Hart, wants me to take her to bed. To keep my only job and my reputation, I know I should refuse...but...I’m tempted.

Sweet story of forgiveness and growth

Story: I thought this was a nice story showing how even people with damaged pasts can find love in places they would never expect. Together, the characters found what they needed to heal in each other. Loved it

Narration: I thought the narration was great and had a clean production. Great job!

2nd chance romance

The story blended nicely for the characters who had to overcome life's challenges. The narrator did a great job.

Great Stand Alone

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I wasn't sure what this story was about when I asked for it. It went in a direction I wasn't expecting with Gemma and Adonis. Great story with each of them having secrets that explain their personalities. Sylvia did a great job with the characters and the plot. The narrator did a great job with the accents and bringing out the personalities of the characters. The stories usually involve a dominant man, but this story appears to have a man whose dominance doesn't come out right a way. I look forward to checking out other LA Nights books.

Bad narration/story

I had a really hard time getting through this book. It was quite unpleasant to listen to. I have found that women transition better in to a woman's voice than a man does, which is what made the book very difficult to listen to for me.
