About this listen

Ford Spurlock has known Ashe Trammel since they were babies.

He’s also done his level best to stay away from her because every time he gets to within five feet of her, they’re fighting like cats and dogs.

Ashe is the apple of her father’s eye. The motorcycle club princess that was never to be harmed in any way - or touched for that matter. And he’s always resented the fact that she could get away with things that he couldn’t. Things that she then blames on him and he always gets punished for.

Fast forward to adulthood, and Ashe is still off limits. Still driving him insane. Still...beautiful.

She never misses an opportunity to give him hell, either.

That has to be why he agrees to do a photoshoot for KPD SWAT that’ll benefit her charity even when he’d rather shoot himself in the foot with his duty weapon.

Ashe never thought he’d agree.

Honestly, she thought she’d ask him, he’d say no, and that’d be the end of it.

She never realized that she’d leave his photo up in her cubicle, and it’d be the last thing that she saw every night as she locked her office door.

When they were kids, Ford used to be that boy that threw dirt at her and pulled her hair.

Now, he’s the same Ford Spurlock, only a whole lot sexier. And a lot harder to say no to.

When he challenges her to one date, she has no other recourse but to agree.

What she didn’t agree to was falling in love with Mr. March. Or wanting to give him everything she had to give.

always a good time when you read LLV's work

(Ford & Ashe): I totally love the Spurlock family so I was excited to read this book which is about Trance and Viddy's eldest son. He's part of the second generation of the KPD SWAT team and is currently getting ready for the calendar shoot. Ashe has been his friend since they were kids. She's the princess of the Dixie Wardens MC and has been off limits. A bet swearing that she can't both make the police force and the SWAT team brings them together. Never one to turn down a challenge Ashe takes that bet. This ultimately brings them closer together. They have amazing chemistry and are hot together. Of course in the world of LLV it's never unicorns and rainbows. The KPD is dealing with a case of weird kidnappings, a street full of residents who have disdain for the cops and make it known on a daily basis. The love, drama and mysteries never ends. Loved it.

Maybe love will help

What more can I saw about this fantastic audio .
Some parts with Ashe Trammel and Ford Spurlock. Had me laughing my heart out .
This is the third book in the series. The nick names were original. Both Ashe Trammel and Ford Spurlock. Have been childhood friends. They both love to dare each other into stupid stuff.
Ashe is a daughter of one fire chief who also is part of the Dixie Warden M/C .
Ashe is planning on moving to Dallas. But Ford doesn’t want her to go , so they both do a bet if Ashe can make the police department and make the Swatt team then Ashe wins then Ford will pose for a calendar . If she looses then Ashe has to go with Ford to a Raman restaurant. The love between Ashe and Ford is true but also the name calling and dares.

There is something going on in town with kittens going MIA . Both Ashe and Ford join together to find out what is happening

Both Philip Alces, Jillian Macie performance was fantastic. Love how they brought the characters to life.

I bought the book on Kindle too. its very rare I find a book that I enjoy and finish. I go thru 10 books a week! I enjoyed the story line but did not care for male voice but it didn't keep me from listening. the whole series is awesome buying the next book now!

More kids of KPD SWAT

As I’ve said before, it is fun watching the kids of the original KPD SWAT find the HEA. This time it’s Ashe Trammel (Torin and Tru’s daughter) and Ford (Miller and Mercy’s son) story. This pair have been fighting since they were kids. But you know what they say about the line between love and hate...well these two are about to cross it. The question is, will they survive?

What's with all the snorting?

Like most of her books, this one kept me interested and was a good read. The only issue I had was all the snorting responses. What's up with that? It got annoying.
Also, the serial killer storyline just got dropped? Even after it being so important to Ash? I was left confused on that.
