Excellent Book. I learned quite a bit.

Michael Huff has written an excellent and informative book on becoming a better coyote hunter. Though I have been coyote hunting for years, I learned many tips. I really appreciated the chapters on preparation and vehicle organization. Rifle selection and fur handling tips were great. Attention to details like these make a world of difference. I do wish the author would have elaborated more about his specific calling sequences in the West and Midwest or more details about his hunting experience in that part of the country. I know that Randy Anderson and others have many videos, but I wanted the authors opinion as he organized his thoughts in a way that just doesn't come through on typical coyote hunting videos.
In all, I really enjoyed this book and learned quite a bit. I thank the author for taking the time and care to write. I REALLY appreciate that someone different (who doesn't speak inner city Ebonics) narrated this book. THANK YOU!!

Informative and engaging

Good narration. Obviously valuable hunt tactics being shared from a veteran of the field in Huff. I’m definitely going to try night hunting after reading this book.

Master?

I believe the author might be a master, but this book is beyond elementary. Very little insight into tactics or even behavior and seems more like a sales pitch for certain products.

Probably helpful for someone who has never hunted

This book was full of lots of filler covering LOTS of ballistic data, how to be nice to land owners, how most electronic calls are made in China, and how to choose a mount. it really only had about 15 minutes of real useful information for any who has hunted before. Minimal actual material about coyote patterns, or calling. I skipped a lot of the nonsense.
