About this listen

While attempting to rescue a young orphan, Maxwell Flynn becomes separated from his brother and the rest of the small group of persecuted Christians. Grace Winslow, distraught at the loss of Max and Jonah, is forced to make a tough decision: stay with the group, or go search for the two missing members?

Since they lost their sanctuary camp in the Canadian wilderness, the group’s struggle for basic survival grows more challenging by the day. Where can they hide? How will they find safe water? When will they have their next meal?

The believers press on, determined to seek safe shelter from society’s storms. They find themselves battered at every turn, but they cling to their faith and their fellowship. How long can they go on? Will they live to see tomorrow?

All Things Come Together

Leonor Woodworth's calm narration let's the story unfold naturally, as it should. Lots of action happens for the entire group as they make their way away from their original camp. Grace is a bit too weepy too often without having seen the outcomes of separations in the group. Thankfully those end quickly. Problem with that is that while she's weeping so hard, normal physical reactions kick in, like being unable to see through tears, causing stumbles, collisions, falling and unnecessary injuries. Wouldn't be so bad if she at least seemed to learn from these things, but she doesn't. That's 1/2 the missing star. The other missing 1/2 also due to Grace. Max is standing up for everyone, bold and courageous even in spite of injury, yet as soon as he returns to her, Grace tears into him as if he should be able to take on 8 fully armed and trained soldiers, alone, with only a pocketknife. Doesn't matter that he saved a young child, was injured, separated from the group and desperate to get back to his young brother and her. Somehow his inability to save the day for everyone is insufficient. Her lack of gratefulness is intensely disappointing!! There is always going to be something that doesn't go exactly the way we'd like it to because YHWH has a Plan and HIS Plans supercede ours. No, we don't understand HIS Ways sometimes, but to constantly blame those around us who love us ...that also love HIM, is destructive!! Grace tries, succeeds and fails, gets sick and hurt, yet never blames herself. Nor does Max blame her. Her aunt doesn't make any effort to correct or even challenge Grace's thought processes so she can do better, nor does Pastor Price.

Love the fact that the group comes together to pray and how YHWH'S provision is shown. If there's another book I hope my issues with Grace are addressed. No one is perfect, but with YHWH-fearing elders around, we should be getting at least some guidance. Otherwise very well done.

love love

Loved all 3 books. I was worried how it was going to end when I saw no 4th book. It ended perfectly and gave me Song of Solomon Chapter 1 vs 15-18 for my wedding

Don’t agree with theology but enjoyed the story

I don’t believe Christians and children will have to go through the Tribulation, at least not the last half. But I did enjoy the story.

Excellent story if…..

I am not of the belief that Christians will go through the tribulation although there will be many people that will be saved during that time; this is probably one of the best Christian book series I hav read about what will happen in that time.
I loved the mentions of the trumpet judgements and the seals even though the bowl judgements weren’t mentioned, there was a lot of persecution and destruction and I really enjoyed the many references to the Bible.

I can do anything through Christ that gives me str

from the beginning of the first book I was hooked on the story. from Maxwell Flynn to Grace Winslow to Joel and his pony to Dan and Kathy the story was amazing and it seems like they went from one problem after another in the book titled sinners. The author did an awesome job with this series.

Beautiful novel with God's Word at the center!❤

Dear Mrs. Gray, God bless you abundantly for writing this incredible series. I thank God for you always keeping God's Word as the focal point. You developed a beautiful fictional story with characters that were easy to fall in love with, and held my interest throughout the whole series. Thank you from the bottom of my heart; because God's word is always at the center of my heart and life, and it was a joy to indulge myself with your work. Also, the narrator was absolutely perfect. I suppose that I can sum it up by saying well done my sister in Christ and please keep up the good work! God bless you richly and please keep up the good work.

Great book and series

The author did a great job and there were some exciting action moments that kept me on the edge of my seat and also caused me to pace back and forth in suspense.

Come on, where's the Second Coming?

I'm used to these sort of books ending with the 2nd Coming. Also, an update on Tray & Trish would've been nice.

An incredible journey

A real awakening, do I really have what it takes to make it through the tribulation. The ability to not deny my Lord and Savior. This is what Max and Grace had to face. A wonderful story, a bit terrifying, and quite a journey! A truly talented author who obviously loves God and an equally talented narrator. A must read.
