Importantly Lynda does suggest you seek medical advice and a diagnosis before assuming that IBS is the cause of your symptoms, as this may not necessarily be the case.
The second track addresses the entire spectrum of symptoms by increasing your sense of both emotional and physical calm. Over the course of a 30-minute-long meditation, you will visualise calming imagery that not only soothes but also teaches you coping mechanisms for dealing with the unpleasantness of symptoms.
The third track deals specifically with constipation, using powerful techniques to control digestion with specific thoughts. Through both suggestion and metaphor your body will respond to the imagery by increasing or regulating digestion activity, encouraging regular and easier bowel movements.
The fourth and final track uses imagery and suggestion to soothe, calm and slow down over-stimulated activity in the whole digestive system. It encourages a gradual slowing down of the digestive process which lessens the likelihood of diarrhoea.
Lynda's approach is based on many years as a clinical hypnotherapist, and she has helped thousands of people across the world with her recordings. This has helped me so much!
This has helped my stomach so much. I have only listened to it 3 times in the last week and a half, but OMG! The first time I listened to it my stomach was normal for about three days. Then the second time the same thing happened. So now I am trying to listen to it every day, so I can have a normal healthy stomach all the time. They tell you to listen to these for 21 days straight, so that is my goal and then whenever I need to have a refresher. This is an amazing hypnosis program to help with something that nothing else has helped me with. I am incredibly happy with it. Also, it is easy to listen to.
