Has promised too many things left unresolved every book

Every book started out good with different plot lines and characters, there was character development and it was very interesting. But then every book a huge time gap at the end and didn’t tie up loose ends, wondering what happened with so many relationships or how did they get to where they are now. I stopped at book 4. I was too upset about not getting the closure and wondering how why what when every book. Virtual voice also sucks, but I understand it allows the author to get their content out in an audiobook format for a reasonable price.

Could not continue

I would love to listen to this series but the monotone of the narration makes it boring. I think it has a great story and written well but I enjoy a narrator with animation and passion. If this comes out with a different narrator I will definitely give it another try.

ok

I love the over all plot but really would have had a narrator not a computer 😁

box set

the narration of these books was monotone. all the voices were the same. male female young old. all the same. there was no change. happy sad mad all the same. it's a good story however short and sometimes felt rushed, the story was there. it's just blah

Can't stand the virtual voice

These may be better if they had a real narrator. they all end abruptly without resolution to things brought up in some of the books. They were ok. they're fine if you just need something to take time, but they are in no means something you are enthralled in that you can't wait to hear more.

Virtual voice is the worst

This virtual voice is the worst everything is so monotone. It should NEVER BE USED!!! Real people are so much better.

Some thoughts about these stories.

All the stories are about the same. Girl and boy meet. Girl find out boy is a shifter. They have sex story ends.

Each one says it’s a standalone novella. Which is true and not true. The last 3 actually kind of tied together.

This story line could have been so much better if they all tied together into one large story. Instead several small stories that were all basically the same.

juvenile writing, unlikable characters and shock value language

juvenile writing 101... everything is to extremes and repeating " and then"...
unlikable characters... nothing likable for the main character... no confidence but allows a stranger to take her to his house in the woods? Evil mom with no explanation, aggressive male lead, and shock value words during the sex scene which gave it a serious "ick" factor... "she wouldn't be able to stop herself from coming"... what? who would? so dumb!!!
sorry I try to leave something positive in a review but honestly, i won't be listening to anything more than the first book and it I'd spent money on this series I would demand a refund.
