About this listen
On an unrecognizable world far from their home, the crew of interstellar freighter, the Mary May, find themselves stranded and alone.
Travis had always been a confident man, but everything changed when, stripped of his memories, he found himself naked and surrounded in a time long gone. When a chance encounter gave him hope that he might not be the only one in the same tragic predicament, he took control.
After seeking out the first of his crew and falling in love all over again with the battered space hulk they called home, they soon found the simple answer to their burning question wasn’t the right one. With the truth, all optimism fell away when the realization hit that they only had a few hours to find their remaining friends before they’re all damned to live out the rest of their lives as strangers in a foreign world.
With their fate already on a knife edge before the local military added to their woes, can Travis overcome his fears and the obstacles pressed against him by the strange world to bring the crew together before they’re lost forever, or worse?

interesting
I've read some of Stevens others works previously. This is different than those. The story actually aligns more with some of my favorite books so that's not a bad thing. I'd like to see a bit more character development if this story continues on but I enjoyed it as.

Great read!
“Lost Amongst the Stars" is an engaging sci-fi adventure that expertly blends a bit of humor with a compelling narrative. Set in a parallel universe, the story introduces a cast of interesting and likable characters who navigate their bizarre situation with wit and charm. Stevens crafts a storyline that keeps you intrigued while delivering moments of levity, making it an enjoyable read. I’m ready for book 2!

He never lets me down
I’ve been a fan of GJ Stevens for a while, starting with In The End and subsequently his Carrie Harris adventures. When I saw he had this coming out, I knew I had to get it. Absolutely loved it! I’m impressed by his ability to create characters that are easy to get into and his way of painting the picture in our heads. I’m excited to see where he takes this series and I highly recommend you get onboard now! Join me in getting Lost Amongst the Stars and be sure to check out his other amazing books. The narrator does a fantastic job of bringing the characters voices to life, as well.

Great story to read, even better to listen to
I really enjoyed listening to Lost Amongst the Stars. Samuel James has a pleasant voice and reads at a good pace. He brought Travis and the Gang to life for me. GJ Stevens is a relatively new author for me. I believe just a few years, but he doesn't disappoint. I really like this new series and can't wait for volume two.

An enthralling good time
Received an audio copy from the author GJ Stevens, this is an honest review. Beautifully narrated by Samuel James as he brings a high level comedic wit to this science fiction adventure where the crew of the freighter Mary May, an eccentric bunch struggling to recover their memories and get off world they've been stranded upon as they race a persistent launch sequence to find each other and get back to completing missions... legal or otherwise.
Highly recommended.

A Fun Parellel Universe Story
This was my first experience with this author's work, and I thought it was entertaining. I liked the unusual circumstances where the crew got lost in a parallel universe and although many things were the same as their own time, not everything was. I enjoyed the characters, and I liked Travis who was willing to do anything to find his crew and return to his spaceship. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I was entertained by Samuel James' narration and followed his performance with delight. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this story.

Interesting book
This was a very interesting read. The crew of a space ship wakes up with no memory and has figure out what happened. There’s comedy and a rag tag crew. The book is a good space opera.

A new twist on the concept of parallel universes
I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of this book and can see many ways it could be continued. A crew stranded on a somewhat but not all together familiar planet suffering from memory loss, with a ship that is on the blink. Character development was good but could have been a bit deeper, and the story line moved along briskly. I listened to this book almost non-stop, which is not the way I normally listen. I found that the book started strongly, but then became somewhat predictable. A crew that is stranded on a planet could have many more adventures, but I also understand that this is to be a series and the author has to leave something for future books. The narrator was a bit off for me, but the story was a solid effort and I am looking forward to the next installment.
