Having earned starred reviews and a fervent following for her urban Christian fiction, Leslie J. Sherrod delivers the first in a riveting new series. In Losing Hope, Sienna St. James thinks she’s finally close to getting over her long-lost, globetrotting husband. Or so she thinks. One Tuesday, everything begins to come apart when a succession of strange events - including the mystery surrounding a girl named Hope - brings her past, present, and future into question.

If you could sum up Losing Hope in three words, what would they be?

Hope Rekindled Literally

What was one of the most memorable moments of Losing Hope?

When Hope was found. I was pleasantly surprised at how it was exposed.

Which character – as performed by Patricia R. Floyd – was your favorite?

I liked the way she performed the male characters. She did a great job to accentuate the difference.

If you could take any character from Losing Hope out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Sienna St. James - to understand how long is too long to wait for Richard.

Any additional comments?

I admired the story plot and the peep into various simultaneous events. It was great storytelling meshed with credible life events.

Great and Captivating Tale

Loved this story because I couldn't put it down. Similar names of many characters in the story made the story line a little difficult to follow if you're the kind of "reader" that listens once a week or less. However, it was intricately woven into a sad tale that left the reader relieved and anxious for the rest of the story.

Complex story not revealed until last 45 minutes!

I love the narrator Patricia R. Floyd. She really brought the characters to life for me. I really loved how the story flowed and kept you on your seat.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Losing Hope?

I loved how at each moment when Sienna would seem like all hope was lost, it all worked out anyway.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Very much so.

Any additional comments?

I am going to download the other books in this series!

The Most memorable for me moment is when Mother Jefferson read Psalm 62. Our Hope is in the Lord.

Listen, I started this book on today at work around 10am cst and am just finishing it at 12:53am lol!! First, I loved Patricia's narrating! This book shows that a great story can be told without cussing, and sex. I'm so excited I want to listen to it again. This story kept me on the edge of my seat! Each time I thought I had it figured out I was wrong lol. Also loved the double conundrum about faith.
The only thing that disappointed me was not having more details about the characters reactions once the mystery unfolded. I wanted to hear the young lady's reaction. Other than that this book is a 10+!!!

OMGGGG!!!
