About this listen
Only an ancient system of transport gates has kept Maggie and her companions, the human bounty hunter Gallen O'Day and the sentient bear Orick, one step ahead of the Dronons. But now, out of worlds and out of hope, they are stranded on a planet called Ruin, far beyond the gates and off the star charts. The desolate rock and its hundred inhabitants are ruled by the ancient eccentric, Lord Felph, who has spent 600 years searching for a mythic relic. Maggie, Gallen, and Orick must risk their lives to find this relic, for without it nothing will stop the Seventh Swarm.

Don't Bother
Should have spent my credits on something else! I would have been better off! It took longer to write this review than to realize that these books were duds!

the editor should be fired
I think that the author, or editor, forgot to read the first two books written in the series before writing, or editing, this book. there are massive holes and contradictions, especially when taken with the epilogue of the second book. I was rather disappointed in the conclusion of this book. the author even left massive holes in the conclusion; many important things were left unfinished, with no hint for any kind of continuation.

The Lesser of the Three Books
This book fell short of my expectations based on the previous two books in this series. What turned the story into what I classify as a "bad book" was the proselytizing bear. A little more action and a little less preaching would have improved the story.
