About this listen
Stealing a prototype android should have been easy. No one said it would want revenge.
In stark contrast to the dying world around him, Zeke's life had never been so wonderful. He had more work than ever, and life with Amelie and Delila was like something out of a dream. In a city where many died young, a bit of hope began to shine.
A few days later, hanging from the balcony of the ninety-fifth floor of a hotel, Zeke finds himself wondering how things turned south so quickly.
Plasma rifles, fast cars, and hot women. Zeke just hoped that would be enough to get him out of this one alive.

Story
In 2036, an eccentric billionaire funded humanity’s first trip to Mars as an ego project. That expedition made the most significant discovery in human history: proof of extraterrestrial life. The ancient alien outpost they found catapulted humanity’s knowledge of faster-than-light travel, genetic engineering, and planetary colonization forward by centuries. Almost a century later, humanity has shown that despite their use of advanced technology, some things haven’t changed.

Story
Arden was left in the village by a dying mage, who never returned. With no way out of the village on his own, he had always held onto the hope that one day his magic would awaken and give him access to his spheres. But he’s about to turn eighteen and it’s never come. Instead, he’s settled into his lot as a sarcastic and quick-witted innkeeper. That all changes one night when his old flame, who escaped the village to become a mage’s anchor, returns. Ard’s life is about to go through some dramatic changes, and he’s not ready for them.

When a trio of cute goblins emerged from a silver portal that appeared out of nowhere on my property...things got a bit more complicated all of a sudden. Also, I soon discovered they bite and scratch: mostly each other, but sometimes me.

Story
When Josh Underwood is thrown through a wormhole and lands on an unfamiliar world, he is immediately attacked by flesh-eating worms and snarling wolves. He has one huge advantage. A ring sits on his finger, but it's no ordinary ring. It's alien tech designed to improve its host’s strength, speed, agility, durability and combat instinct. Not all boons are infinitely wondrous. This tech has to understand what Josh needs for it to evolve, and time is of the essence.

Gritty harem urban fantasy.
I wasn't sure if book 2 was going to be able to keep up with the high octane of the 1st one but it did, and more.
Assassins and androids and gangs that put prices on the head of our MC.
This story goes from one intense scene to the next.
Not sure how he has time to keep his girls satisfied.
I'm giving this book 7 out of 5 stars and anxiously awaiting the next book in this series.
