About this listen
Do you want more?
There are multiple reasons behind stripping everything off and returning to the basics. Living a life of simplicity is not about living poorly, it is about living richly and in focus. When we complicate our lives with material objects and then strive and stress to maintain those objects, we find that life can become chaotic, busy, lonely, and unfulfilling, which can lead to depression and discontent.
When you seek and find clarity, everything around you turns into an opportunity. When you ask, you will receive if you are clear. The minimalist lifestyle offers freedom, peace, and ease.
With this book:
- You'll learn about the primitive brain and how it rewards you for things that it thinks it needs, thus forming habits that do not serve you.
- You'll begin to see the many rewards that come from minimalism and that you are the architect of everything that happens in your life.
- You'll discover why the thought of more is so attractive, and learn what you need to do to simplify your life.
- You'll see that everything you truly want is already at your disposal - all you have to do is ask in the right way, with clarity. Minimalism leads to immense clarity.

Story
Most of us know we own too much stuff. We feel the weight and burden of our clutter, and we tire of cleaning and managing and organizing. While excess consumption leads to bigger houses, faster cars, fancier technology, and cluttered homes, it never brings happiness. Rather, it results in a desire for more. It redirects our greatest passions to things that can never fulfill, and it distracts us from the very lives we wish we were living. But it doesn't have to be this way.

Fumio Sasaki is not an enlightened minimalism expert or organizing guru like Marie Kondo - he's just a regular guy who was stressed out and constantly comparing himself to others, until one day he decided to change his life by saying goodbye to everything he didn't absolutely need. The effects were remarkable: Sasaki gained true freedom, new focus, and a real sense of gratitude for everything around him.

Story
Rachel used to be a mom who spent her days weary, anxious, and guilt laden. She had five kids in five years, lived on three different continents, and then was blindsided by a devastating health diagnosis. Neglecting her own physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional needs for so long—in an effort to be a selfless mother—had left her utterly depleted. And physically unwell. Then she began asking a question she’d never considered before: Could it be that taking good care of myself is not actually selfish, but maybe, just maybe, something a responsible adult does?

Animals are the direct product of their environment. They reactively evolve over time based on external circumstances. The process of their evolution is slow and random. Human beings are the indirect product of their environment. Although the environment is the medium through which humans adapt and evolve, our choices determine our environments. This is the fundamental difference. We get to decide the course and intensity of our personal evolution by intelligently designing our environments.

The difference between living a full life and one that is filled with misery is knowing if you are an empath or a hypersensitive person. If you've lived your entire life up to this point with the constant psychological assault of what is everyday life for everyone then there is a chance that you are hypersensitive and you just didn't know it.

What if we were programmed to follow someone else's footsteps and didn't have the opportunity to discover and understand different cultures and lifestyles that may completely change our understanding about what we really need and how we visualize that perfect life? In this profound book bundle, I would like to present to you two of these lifestyles. One is called minimalism, and another is Hygge. The worst.
It felt like a long long dreadful explanation as to why minimalism should be undertaken. Rather than feeling inspired, I felt berated by the author and narrator. A complete waste of time and money. I would have given zero stars if I could.
