Reimagined Classic Noir!

Buying this boxset was a gift for myself and damn I'm grateful. Scott writes a classic thriller and makes it better by naturally weaving in LGBT characters. We're queer and here to stay. This story had me on the edge of my seat with its "who done it". And the narrator does a fantastic job breathing 3 dimensional life into rich characters.
I loved listening to the mystery unfold. It had just the right amount of man spice to cater to my more primitive need. Give it a listen, you won't be sorry.

An erotic murder mystery

This was actually a very engaging listen. while the first book was a little bit far-fetched, it was a good introduction to the overall myrrh mystery. became better framed and filled out by the second book. The third was filled with turns and twists and some of the unexpected. while I'm not a fan of murder mysteries since they're too much like real life on occasion, the trilogy ended up grabbing my attention and holding it. theoretic scenes were above average, which is sometimes better than overly explicit. a great choice for a long road trip!

Sean Crisden is an exquisite acting talent with a multitude of believable voices. I could listen to him read the dictionary.
