About this listen

They call him "The Rig Warrior." Name: Barry Rivers. Occupation: Long haul trucker. Special skills: Defender of freedom. Patriot. Government sanctioned killer. America's secret weapon.

A nation off the rails...

No one saw the first attack coming. A perfectly orchestrated assault on a mass-transit railroad line that left countless Americans dead. Intelligence experts are convinced this is no ordinary terrorist attack. To pull off something like this, it would take a deep-state traitor with dark foreign connections. And to stop them, it will take someone who isn't afraid to shed blood.

A hero off the grid...

Enter Barry Rivers, the Rig Warrior. An urban legend in the intelligence community, Rivers has been living off the radar for years. But when he sees his country under attack, he reaches out to his nephew Jake, an FBI agent, to track down the enemies in our own government. To these high-ranking traitors, Rivers is a threat to their global agenda. When Rivers revs up his tricked-out 18-wheeler and goes after a runaway train on a collision course with disaster, all bets are off. The war is on. And with Barry Rivers at the wheel, it's going to be the ultimate knockdown, drag-out fight for America's future.

More Please...Esp of Doc McIntyre

First, the raspy voice of the narrator is absolutely perfect for this type of story.

Barry "Dog" Rivers is my kind of man!! Clear visioned, no excuses and prepared to live, stand up for what's right and fight. He takes care of himself so his age doesn't stop him from doing what needs doing. He's old enough and wise enough to ask for and accept help when needed.
Jake Rivers is Barry's nephew and a great heir to Barry whenever that happens. Gretchen is a woman of action who doesn't whine or step down when things get tough. Nor does she over talk the men. She's strong, an excellent shot and companion for Jake...and they respect her for it.

But who I want more back story from is Doc McIntyre. I'd like to see him on the next mission with them and in action. No well rounded special forces team is complete without their medic who is also a finely honed fighter. It sounds like there could be room in the big truck for a mini-surgical unit if the table was Murphy styled and an EMT closet was added with all the necessary deep emergency gear... including a few fold up cots.

Really excited about this series. I want more please...on audio!! Thanks!!
