A young, naïve but ultimately courageous hedge knight, Ser Duncan the Tall towers above his rivals—in stature if not experience. Tagging along is his diminutive squire, a boy called Egg—whose true name is hidden from all he and Dunk encounter. Though more improbable heroes may not be found in all of Westeros, great destinies lay ahead for these two . . . as do powerful foes, royal intrigue, and outrageous exploits. Featuring more than 160 all-new illustrations by Gary Gianni, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a must-have collection that proves chivalry isn’t dead—yet.

Hank Jensen doesn't believe in monsters - not the kind Stephen King writes about at any rate. Hank is one of New York's best criminal profilers, and he loves his job. But when he meets the Bristol Butchers, all that changes. They are a pair of psychopaths - cannibals. He chases them in spite of the disabling curse they cast on him, in spite of their threats to his family, and when he catches up to them, his horror begins. They claim to be gods - immortal, omnipotent - and they change into monsters before his eyes.

The difference in their uncanny eyes could not be easily discerned. In the rays of the setting sun, both Aravel's and Morlan's eyes appeared gold. In the pale moonlight...yellow. Seemingly the same. Such inscrutable likeness is the way of things with identical twins. But all who knew the two brothers well noted unmistakable differences, peculiarities more experienced than seen.

Professor Viktor Pendrake is a legend in his own time and is the foremost expert in extraordinary zoology. His research demands he place himself in peril to directly observe and interact with his subjects, a peril his assistants must endure as well. Bookish Lynus Wesselbaum is the picture of a scholar-in-training whose days are often spent sifting through the vast stacks of tomes within Corvis University. Yet Lynus has earned his place as Professor Pendrake’s senior assistant professor, having accompanied his mentor in the field and survived countless encounters with the most dangerous flora and fauna of western Immoren.

Story
The job was simple: decapitate the zombie, get paid, get out. Warlock Marcus Shifter followed the plan perfectly. The corpse, however, did not. Now there's a body on the loose, accusations of illegal necromancy are flying, and the answers are waiting in the perilous alleys between the mortal and paranormal worlds. They're no place for someone who mostly gave up magic after a childhood accident. And given his tendency to shoot off his mouth and his Glock, Marcus is having a hell of a time digging up more than just bodies. When an apocalypse-minded megalomaniac threatens Marcus's family, things get personal.

Loved the story!!
As a child of the 90s I grew up loving the Disney version of the story. However this reimagining completely floored me. My only was complaint was that I was left wanting the more. The author did an amazing job in just under 3 hours of making the listening gravitate toward the hero as if we didn’t spend our childhood hating him. I definitely recommend this book

Great Short Story
This is a great short story on a classic tale. A selfish, self centered man is your unlikely hero. It is a fun story that the whole family can listen to.

A very fun take on a classic tale.
You've never heard Beauty and the Beast quite like this. It's a fun New Twist on the classic story. The characters are not quite what you expect, but it was a lot of fun. The narration is fantastic!

Exciting new take on a wonderful classic!
Exceedingly well written and I loved the blending of old characters and new, as well as the new interpretation of an old story everyone loves. The narration was wonderful and very easy on the ears! I would completely recommend this for everyone.

an impressive perspective on a story we all love
Gaston has always been one of my favorite Disney characters. How refreshing to read a story where he's not the bad guy, but actually the hero he thought himself to be. this fantasy, his story, is well written and brings the reader right there, with a bit of steam punk flare as well. likewise, the performance was well done. this is the first book by this author I've read, but now I'll definitely read more.

A Better Beauty & the Beast Story
Bradley's retelling of Beauty & the Beast is more exciting, adventurous, and captivating than the original. In fact, if Disney or anyone else wants to make another movie, this is the book they should use this book as the source of their next movie. I hope Bradley reimagines more classic fairytales in the future.

How Gaston Would Have Embellished the Story
Entertaining enough. It felt a little disjointed. Basically like if Gaston had his turn telling the story.

Clever take on a classic
I enjoyed this. The reader did a good job, and the story, though a little slow to take off, held my interest throughout.
