Publisher's summary

Daysha Bardot has given up her dreams of becoming an attorney; settling as an overworked and underpaid assistant. Having to provide for her jailbird baby daddy, while struggling to make ends meet for her and her son, she’s caught in an endless cycle of debt and frustration. When Day finally decides to enjoy a night out with her best friend, she takes a huge loss. Yet, a meeting with a sexy stranger turns her world upside down.

A Bad boy with a good heart, O’drick Knight, was ripped from his mother at birth and sold to an adoptive family in the modern-day skin trade. Running from Miami to escape his part in the death of someone close to him, he relocates to Atlanta and becomes the boss he’s always wanted to be.

The owner of a lucrative car dealership and an online car parts store, Knight, is just as passionate about cars as he is about giving back to the community. During the day, he’s a businessman and philanthropist, but in the shadows of night, he runs a massive car theft ring.

In this fast-track romance, things go from zero to one hundred, quickly! Will Knight and Day crash when their worlds collide, or will they swerve to avoid the obstacles put in their path to destroy them and ride off into the sunset?

Buckle up your seatbelts, for this steamy standalone is guaranteed to make you overheat like a bad radiator.

I really enjoyed this book from beginning til the end...

Now this book kept me wanting to know what was coming next but I did not like how old boy in jail was coming or how dum day was being for him. But glad she got herself together...

Past demons will catch up with you

People deal with traumatic events differently. Some people go through a depression, some run, some face it head on. Knight almost let past issues keep him from being loved because he felt undeserving. Day was the perfect remedy but shit had her own baggage as well. This was a great book. I didn't give the performance 5 stars because of the virtual voice. Virtual voice don't bother me as bad but the right narrators could have skyrocketed this story. I still highly recommend.
