Publisher's summary

What if God is better than you think and hell isn't an eternal torture chamber?

Many Christians are unaware that Universal Reconciliation was the dominant view of the church for the first 500 years, with Annihilation and Eternal Torment as minority positions. Jesus Undefeated is an eye-opening examination of all three views of the afterlife and a God who is even more loving than we dare imagine. Discover the Gospel that is not merely "Good News", but fantastically "Great News."

A fair, reasoned look at a very tough subject

A book like this will challenge those of us who grew up believing that the only biblical belief was that those who die without Christ go to Hell, where they are tormented for eternity. Giles shows us that there have always been 3 biblical views of what happens when we die. And he explains, from scripture and reason, why universal reconciliation is the most logical view.

The book is well-written. The narrator does a fantastic job. Well done, all the way around!

So Good

Love all of Keith’s work. Being raised in the cult of Christian fundamentalism this book is a much needed breath of fresh air to me.

Excellent

This book is what I knew in my gut, but wasn’t brave enough to go there. The deep relief I feel from having my own thoughts validated through Keith’s scholarship has brought a sense of peace and joy to my life. Do I feel free now to be me, to love, others, love God, And Just BE.

An easily digestible book on a complex issue.

Keith Giles wonderfully articulates the 3 exclusive treatments of the scripture regarding hell. He clearly Articulates and contrasts "Eternal Conscience Torment", "Conditional Immortality", and "Patristic Universalism"; covering the biblical support of each. He honestly addresses the bias each view brings to scripture and ties each to Jesus life and teachings. As the book progresses through many of the questions and contrasts, patristic universalism is clearly demonstrated as the preeminent hope and teaching of the Old and New Testament writers, and a majority of early Church fathers. This book will challenge and shift your view if given the honest curiosity required to engage with it. Highly Recommended.
