Witty and funny

Every story was filled so many witty phases and funny sayings. I couldn't focus on just one to remember.

Produced for Radio, full cast.

I love everything Wodehouse, especially the Jeeves and Wooster series. I have read the books, listened to the unabridged versions here, and of course watched the tv show too. This one is just as lovely, even if abridged and made for radio.

Classics never go out of style

Excellent performances, wonderful wit. Everyone should read at least a couple of Wodehouse classic Wooster and Jeeves stories

The best Jeeves and Wooster radio drama available

Many actors have managed to capture Jeeves' cool and professional brilliance (none better than Stephen Fry, IMO), but capturing the scatter-brained, joyously erratic Bertram Wooster is a much bigger challenge. In my opinion, nobody has managed it better than Richard Briers, as captured in this collection of radio dramas. Add to that a fantastic supporting cast, with wonderful Aunts Dahlia and Agatha, a hilarious Tuppy Glossop, Stilton Cheesewright, Roderick Spode and Madeline Bassett, and an absolutely astounding Gussie Fink-Nottle, and it's easy to see why this is the very best Jeeves and Wooster radio drama available. Strongly recommended!

One problem: as often happens with Audible and large audiobooks, the individual chapters are not labeled, making it impossible for you to skip to a particular story without looking up a list of plays.

A minor complaint: since this collection is arranged chronologically, it starts with the relatively weak "The Inimitable Jeeves" collection, which -- as a series of short stories -- doesn't really translate very well to radio. It makes up for it by immediately following it up with, "Right Ho, Jeeves", one of the very best Jeeves novels ever, and then you're off to the races.

Fabulous content, stange editing.

Incredible dramatization of the classic! However, not in chronological order and strange cuts. otherwise a delight.

I am Biased!

There is no more a master of English pros me than PG Woodhouse. Every time I listen to any of his writings, I chuckle laugh, guffaw and smile.this particular set is superb! Bertie is performed brilliantly, Jeeves is Oscar worthy! (When the Oscars meant something other than a woke lecture!)

Perfect atmosphere and delivery.

Briers and Hordern make a perfect Jeeves and Wooster, their timing and delivery is wonderful. If you enjoyed the Laurie and Fry TV series, this provides the same relaxing and humorous fun. This predates the series by 20 years, and I'm sure served as an inspiration to Laurie and Fry. For fans of Woodhouse, this audio book is indispensable!

Loved it - wish there was more

This has instantly become one of my favorite titles in my library! This amazing cast brings the Jeeves and Wooster stories to life perfectly and I wish there was more of this particular radio drama. Not sure how I'll ever listen to anyone else perform these characters! If you're a Wodehouse fan, don't hesitate to pick this one up!
