Long before even dragons roamed the planet, the spores of the borlamites were biding their time in the heat and darkness of deep Earth. They were waiting for the surface to cool and the seeds of life to take hold and turn a barren rock into a pearl among planets in our galaxy. As they prepared to emerge from beneath Earth’s tectonic plates and turn the bio-matter of the dead and dying, into food for the budding flora and fauna, their birth was interrupted by an asteroid strike. The planetary conditions suddenly changed, and the borlamites continued to sleep.
They slept through the darkness enshrouding Earth. They slept through one ice age after another while the planet underwent a multitude of changes. They slept for another 65 million years.
Eventually, the temperature began to increase, and with global warming came the long-awaited germination and birth of the borlamite spores. As they emerged, they expected to find a world of giant dinosaurs inhabiting the region from the Tropic of Cancer to the Tropic of Capricorn. Instead, they found a different creature had replaced them as Earth’s dominant species: Mankind.
Whether dinosaurs or humans, the borlamites were hungry, and in the absence of unburied dead, they would create their own… and eat them.

Book Six is Like That!!!
Book six is exciting right from the start! There’s plenty of action, and it was so gripping that I couldn’t put it down—so I didn’t! The narration was superb, as always. I have to take a moment to appreciate the narrator, who has expertly voiced every book in the series, flawlessly pronouncing even the most difficult names. Now, on to book 7 which is the final book in the series!

We get to meet a Different Life Form
In this book Jake and his dragon come in contact with a very different life form. Creatures that were supposed to populate the earth 65,000 yrs ago, but circumstances happened and they are showing up now. Author does a Great job building a detail description and background for these creatures and how and why they exist.
Narrator once again does a Great job with Characters and Storyline.

Stop the invasion?!
This was a different view for Jake and his dragon. Creatures, known as Borlamites, from many, many years ago are here with the intent to destroy the earth. It’s what ingrained in them to do. Jake and the whole Pain family will tackle this together. Will they find what they need to stop them? You definitely need to pick up this book and all the other in Jake’s Journey. Onto the next one.

What is Happening!!! WORMs NO!!
Jake’ dragon six is a little different from the other books. instead of focusing just on Jake and his dragon, it focuses on the Borlamites that have been sleeping for 65 million years. And how they want to destroy everything so they can eat because they’re hungry or get everything or their queen. Jake,his dragon, and other compatriots have to find away to stop them from their goals. Will they do it have to read and find out. Riano D. McFarland and A. C. Oliver did a wonderful job on this book. The six book in the series is still there for all ages young and old. I did get the book for free for a honest review.

Worms Everywhere!
Well, not exactly worms, but the borlamites are the latest problem to face Jake, T’Aer Bolun Dakkar, the rest of the Payne family, and all the dragon kings and their bonded riders. These creatures eat everything in sight to appease the hunger of their queen. Jake and company tackle this problem with aplomb. I guess I've become so disenchanted with our current world/country that is it any mystery that I want to live in the Paynes' world?

Interesting
This was an interesting dragon science fiction fantasy that had environmentalist threads running throughout the story. It is geared towards boys and young men that enjoy books similar to H. G. Wells and Christopher Paolini. This does have foul language and violence.
