About this listen

Book Three in Janice Thompson's best-selling Weddings by Bella series: Bella couldn't be happier that her long-feuding Aunt Rosa and Uncle Lazarro have finally admitted their love for one another and are getting married. Their '40s-style wedding is sure to be a night to remember. But when the Rossi house begins to fill up with family from Italy - and an old mobster from New Jersey - life starts to get complicated. Will Lazarro's friend from the past drive the happy couple apart once more? And will Bella ever have time to think of her own rapidly-approaching wedding amidst the chaos?

Full of laugh-out-loud humor, plenty of Italian passion, and a bit of Texas gumption, It Had to Be You is the satisfying conclusion to an entertaining series.

Delightful

Wedding Series by the author all have been a delight to read. With the good narration it brings us to a wedding of her beloved aunt and uncle. She has long awaited for this day and plans are for family to celebrate. With the arrival of those from Italy she got more than she wanted, trouble came. Delighted.

Crazy romance

This is a crazy but fun story of an Italian family in Texas. It starts with the wedding of a dear aunt planned by the niece who would do anything to see the happy couple have the wedding of their dreams. It ends in coming to the rescue of another family member to show love and support for all they have done for others. A lovely story of family and working together.
The reader had a clear, strong voice that made listening to the intonations of the individual characters, a delight.

Fun listen!

I enjoyed this fun Italian family! A heartwarming listen for sure. Rosa waiting for love for over 50 years, Lazaro learning to love again after losing his first wife. Throw a southern (Texan) cowboy and his family into the mix and it was just fun. A lot to follow with different characters and what they have going on, but it was easy to follow and get caught up in the characters

The narrator did a good job, her Italian flowed easily as well as the Italian accept on some of the characters. I thought her voice of the south was a little off, but still good overall.
