Lovely storytelling, fleshed out characters and plot twists in a way that it kept me wanting more. I’m definitely looking out for the next book from this author.

Pleasantly Surprised

This was more of a stressful annoyance plot than a suspense thriller, specially by main character “Sarah”. I found her to be very emotional, not sure if author meant her to be such! or this is how the author writes her stories… This results in excessive stress and annoyance, versus making a point. The narrator did & excellent job of presenting it. Also there were sections of story that didn’t need to be there.

I listen to three audio books a week and did not find any real OMG moments. I will say the narration was very well done.

I couldn’t get onboard with Sara’s character. She was unlikable and annoying. I tried to finish listening but just couldn’t. The wasn’t credible when it came to recounting events, yet the detectives didn’t press for answers?? DNF

I'm not sure why there are so many negative ratings. It's a slow read but it is well written. There are some surprises in this story. A good read.

Intriguing storyline with captivating ending; very entertaining throughout course of audiobook and read well from audio standpoint

I was super invested, curious to find out what really happened that night while camping.

The author did a fantastic job developing the plot in a way that it kept me guessing, wondering, coming up with possible theories.

If you are in the mood for a good mystery, grab this one!
