Publisher's summary

Ginny Mills is a librarian with a mission. She's determined to get to her family, and not even the crowds of shuffling, infected undead will stop her.

Lee Quartine's spent his life making do and getting by. He knows how to survive, but now he has Ginny and a small band of survivors to care for.

The power is out. Winter has arrived. The infected roam in packs. Survivors are showing up in the strangest places. And Ginny and Lee haven't even crossed the state line yet.

It's gonna be a long trip...

Ginnie worked my nerves

Well I enjoyed the first book even though Ginnie was so annoying and made such stupid choices. She was out of touch in the apocalypse..smh. Second book(this one) took her foolish decisions ups notch. I wanted to like her but couldn’t. I also was annoyed that Lee was so high school smitten over her…it was a bit much.
As for the narrator, the country drawl she gave all of the men was super ignorant sounding. These were ex-military men and they sounded as if they were straight out of the woods.

No Common Sense

The woman has no common sense. Yes, I can forgive her for her whining, but she’s always doing stupid things…annoying.

Good story but too short

Good story but too short. A lot of character development and good story line. Not your basic Zombie Book

This book is Bad! What is even happening!? The narration, the storyline, the inner monologue bits all just a big fat NO!
