Publisher's summary

An all-time best seller, this timeless classic, written at the turn of the century, has blessed millions of people who have asked the vital question, "What does it really mean to be a Christian?" As a young minister, and before becoming editor of the Christian Herald, Sheldon disguised himself as an unemployed printer and tramped the city streets with others in that same plight. He was shocked by the indifference of the Christian community. From that experience he wrote this novel.

Interesting Concept!

This book was an interesting read, thought provoking concept. It was written for its own time and space, which is something to keep in mind. Definitely worth the time and I would suggest it to friends.

Wonderful book

I first heard “What Would Jesus Do?” back in the 1990s. I did not know that the movement was based on this book and only stumbled across the book a few years ago. I can honestly say that I enjoyed and have been challenged by it. Most definitely worth the time it takes to listen-and absorb-what this book says.

Take the pledge!

This was a great book that challenges all believers into a more authentic walk with Jesus. Let's not only say we want to follow Him, but actually do it!

Oh, To Be Like Jesus!

First published as a book in 1897, In His Steps has been one of the largest-selling books in the United States.

It is timeless when considering whether we live each day In His Steps, asking ourselves, “What Would Jesus Do?” Now an age old question that has been asked for generations, I recall being moved by this story in my teens and have reread it with the same impact on my life over the years. So, does the question challenge us just for a year? It is surely a challenge for life!

The audiobook follows a large cast of characters in various facets of several communities. It sounds like a an old radio show with voices of pride, those of shame and some of desperation. Rob Gregory carries the story well and captures the essence of the story’s intent.

I've always heard this was a great book. I didn't realize this is where "WWJD?" came from. If every church & every Christian would practice this principle, we would see the Kingdom come.
