I laughed and I cried and I laughed til I cried. This book has all the “feels”! I’ve been through very similar hard times and this book was like having a best friend who “gets” me, gets where I’ve been, gets how I feel and somehow made me laugh about it all! True Beautiful Therapy!!!

Funny and Poignant

Heather Land is funny and serious and you can tell the difference! This book was great, and I especially liked hearing it in her own voice. Some spots really should have had the filter included, but if you use your imagination you can hear it, and you will laugh harder! Kudos Heather thank you and I can’t wait for the next!

I don’t even know how I came to hear of Heather Land but I’m so glad I did! I love her sarcastic humor that is so like mine, just without all the minor cuss words that tend to dabble my speech LOL
I thought it was an uplifting story of someone who went through some real stuff and dealt with it in the real world and has come out on the other side.

From one southern girl to another your stories resonated with me from the child food ones to the used ones to the divorce and to the moving forward and to the insecurity it really struck hard with my insecurity and getting past that. Good job , Heather! How about writing another one!

I loved every minute of the book. When Heather was wrapping up the last chapter, I wanted to hear more of her life experiences. My life is very different from hers, yet her stories brought back my own treasured memories of family, friends and shenanigans. I listen to audible books when I run. While listening to this book, I frequently laughed until I cried. I gave up trying to compose myself while laughing and crying in public. At the end of the book, she helped me realize how thankful I am for the risks I have taken in life that brought me to where I am today. I just bought Heather's second audio book, and I am very much looking forward to listening to it.
