Excellent Ride!!!!

“Ten years of research, six years of training and three years of getting ready for this moment.” A woman with a mission. A serial killer with a plan. The tension is there from the beginning and doesn’t let go. Still trying to stop my heart from beating right out of my chest. Masterfully written; excellent ride. 5+ stars.

Revenge is Best Served Face to Face

Where does Hunter/Prey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I like this type of story where the cat and mouse roles change so often that you are caught up in the chase, so top 10%.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hunter/Prey?

Early on at the cabin.

Have you listened to any of Joshua Reiniger’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

To be honest I would have to look him up, however he did a good job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending of course. :)

Any additional comments?

I love Sam's books.

Excellent high-speed action with a twist

The worst thing about this book is that it was too short! This was a random find from what looks like a new self-published author who I hope starts getting some positive recognition because I want him to keep writing!

Good Read

Enjoyed the story line. Kept me interested enough to complete it in less than 4 days. Never really adjusted to liking the narrator. He seemed stiff. But still recommend this book.

Would make a Great Movie!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It was a fun listen! Quick and Easy to follow.

Which scene was your favorite?

Of course when the hero finally gets her revenge. That for me was the best scene.

An OK read..

Hmmm.. I’m not sure how I felt about this book. Parts of it were very sad, parts were for eye rolling, parts were exciting and parts, along with the dialogue, were totally stupid. But, mostly I’ll go with the exciting parts that make it worth reading and listening to.

I mean, really, Allie could really kick some a**. The end of the book she took a serious beating but she also kicked the bad guys a** and killed him too. And she’d been after him for 10 years. She was after him for killing her sister.

I was looking at the reviews on Amazon and found this, “obsession for vengeance she not only lets four people be killed by her target she also risks letting him get away.” That could not be further from the truth. First of all Allie was taped up with duct tape at the cabin when the Roadside Killer killed two of the young people that were in the cabin. He did not kill four and she didn’t “let” him kill those two. Why do people write things that never happened in a book? Geez!

There was swearing in this book and the F-bomb was used 15 times. No romance, no nothing. Just killing, kidnapping and some really good fighting.

As to the narrator: The men’s voices were good and he did read with some emotion BUT all the women sounded just like him. He didn’t really try to sound womanly.

Great thriller revenge book by Sam

What did you love best about Hunter/Prey?

I was a little worried that there would be torture and gore which I'm a little sensitive to. This book was written very well with all the adventure and none of the gross out factor.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I didn't want to put this book down! Every page I wanted to see what happened next and wasn't disappointed when I did turn the page. I really liked the cat and mouse between the heroine and the killer.

Which character – as performed by Joshua Reiniger – was your favorite?

The heroine was great. Strong and left you thinking that she could be real. Joshua Reiniger did a great job in performing the book.

Any additional comments?

I really liked this book. It's not a genre I would normally pick up but I'm so glad I did! I enjoyed every tense moment and will be reading all of Sam Sisavath's books. Great author!

Good listen, wanted to get to the end

Narration was good. Story kept you wanting to find out what's next. In a couple of parts things were too drawn out.

Flat storyline

I happy that I didn't read this book but instead listened in my spare time. If you enjoy simple description of events and no attachment to story's characters then you might enjoy it.
