Publisher's summary

A steamy, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy about mistakes we make and the chances we take on the road to love.

After a snowstorm grounds her flight, Lucy makes a last-ditch effort to get home for Christmas using a rideshare app. She thinks she’ll be taking a road trip with a stranger...but the guy who shows up is someone she knows all too well. He’s the hookup she ghosted a few months ago, and now she’ll be stuck in a car with him for the most awkward road trip of her life.

Making matters worse, he’s even more gorgeous than she remembers—too bad things between them are frostier than the North Pole. Will the long ride home allow them to get to know each other in surprising new ways? And more importantly, will the season warm things up and send sparks flying yet again? Whatever happens, one thing is clear: It’s going to take a whole lot of Christmas magic to unlock their guarded hearts.

Super cute

This was pretty awesome. I just finished a pretty heavy war themed audible last and this was just what I needed after. A light hearted, loving, easy read.

Christmas Love

Such a good story. It was a comedy but romance. I really enjoyed this book but I wish they would have done the female voice instead of doing his perspective in a deep male voice and then a higher pitch male voice for Lucy. It was kinda cringey in the beginning but after listening for a while it was fine.

Tinsel, My Kinda Town

I liked all the offbeat characters and the fact that they spanned a wide age range. Cute dialogue, not completely predictable and the feel-good culmination that is mandatory in any holiday read.

It’s a Hallmark Movie in book form!❄️🎄

I love a good rom com, and this was a delightful Christmas surprise. The story has all the elements of a good Hallmark movie: awkward re-meet when your one night stand from a hookup app is your ride share, break down in a blizzard at the exit of a small Christmas obsessed town called Tinsel full of lusty senior center characters, plenty of magical small town events that kindle that flame- check, check, check, & check. Fun all the way around. It also must be said- the narrator’s were very good- especially Jason Clarke & his gorgeous deep voice and surprisingly funny takes on some of the quirky characters in the town. So, recapping- Fun Hallmark worthy rom com, great narration, and some spice=recipe for a holiday read you’ll enjoy.

Cute holiday story

This was my 1st story by this author, and it was a cute little holiday story. I had high hopes that this would learn heavily towards a "laugh out loud" rom-com vibes, but it fell just short of the mark for me. I also felt that the story started to slow towards the last half, and I found myself listening just to finish instead of needing to know what comes next. Big shout out to the narrators, as they both brought a lot of character to their work, at times even making me forget that this was 3rd person POV!
