Publisher's summary

Book two in the How I Fly series by best-selling young adult author Anne Eliot

What if it's time to move on...?

More than six months after an accident that broke her legs as well as removed her boyfriend from her life - because Cam Campbell left town and dumped her - high school senior Ellen Foster wants to move past her broken heart. She's off to attend a summer photography workshop at a real university along with her best friends. Ellen's determined to find a new love - or at least a summer boyfriend. In the dorm she meets Harrison Shaw. He's a handsome photography student, a charmer who likes her, and a perfect way to forget her past.

What if it all goes perfectly...?

Ellen thinks she has everything she wants. Her summer program couldn't be better. She's half in love with Harrison Shaw, and she's going after her next scholarship. But when she kisses Harrison, she can only remember how Cam Campbell used kiss her better, sweeter, and how he used to make her feel like she could fly....

What if something is not right...?

When Cam shows up at the university, it's a shock, especially to Ellen's new boyfriend. Cam's distant, different, and very afraid to hurt Ellen again. He asks Ellen if they could be friends despite the past and how they've both changed, and Ellen agrees. But after all they've been through, can Cam and Ellen ever be just friends?

Amazing

I loved this little conclusion book to How I Fall. At first, I didn't understand why there were two books. Then, I actually started the second book and I got it. the time gap definitely jsutifies it. This author definitely keeps your attention. I can't wait to read the rest of her books. The narrators were amazing as well. I fullu recommend this book, the author, and the narrators.

Perfect Conclusion to an amazing story.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. Oh Yes! I'd recommend this because it's the same narrators from book one, and it's a continuous story, so you have to find out what happens. I really couldn't see a way out for the characters and I also fell for the new guy a little--because yeah, when you get your heart broken you do need to move on--but as the story unfolded I loved the way it went.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the photography descriptions in this one. The characters are doing a summer photography university class at a university, so of course they take pictures and I really liked being able to see the photos that were taken. That was cool, to read them was great, to hear them come alive in audio just really stayed in my mind. I also loved how things went when Cam came back. The friendship that remained, the way Patrick and Laura were all around Ellen being protective, but also the way Ellen had changed and grown up as well. The plot was also very unexpected--like I'd say more but it will be a spoiler so just it was twisting and turning so it wasn't just about the romance which I liked, too.

What about Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott ’s performance did you like?

Again, Kai Kennicott how she did Laura London's Irish voice. I have never laughed so loud about a character ever. There were also a couple of really sad scenes and the way Kai read that emotion just was...oh...so great. No words to describe it, she and the interactions with Wen Ross--you live the story. Breathe the tears. I just can't say enough about how much I adore this audio book set.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Just like the first book. Oh yes. We just got a new car with the bluetooth and now that this is on my phone, I can't wait to let my mom and sister hear this series. I now don't dread long car rides at all.

Any additional comments?

Thanks ACX for having the free app so I can do this on my iPhone. These are my first audiobooks and I'm hooked.
