About this listen
Controlling the mind is easier said than done. Easwaran uses the metaphor of a house, fine on the outside but internally in disarray, to illustrate the challenges in controlling the mind and the techniques we may use to achieve that control.

A heart filled with gratitude
Listening to Eknath Easwaran speak these words is a gift. The 21st century has quickly built up a giant mountain of negatives, but allowing us to hear this beloved sage's voice words from beyond the grave is definitely one of the positives. My nerves quiet just listening to him speak. His words and thoughts are timeless, and I am so grateful that I can listen to them whenever I need to.
