The unthinkable has happened, Fallon Bane has gone dark.
As hard as Fallon tries to control her power, it only gets stronger. In a fit of desperation she asks for help from the most unlikely person and is wickedly betrayed in the worst way possible.
But there has always been a bright spot in Fallon’s life, someone who can reach her even when others can’t.
Ariyon Madden must decide just how far he’s willing to go to save the girl he loves and the people he has pledged to protect. For the Nightling War approaches, and it’s more horrifying than anyone could have imagined.
Together Ariyon and Fallon must give all that they are to save the people of The Gilded City.
The final book in the stunning romantic fantasy trilogy by Leia Stone.

All in all this was a good series and this book did a nice wrap up for the trilogy. It wasn't the best series that I've read from Ms. Stone, but it wasn't the worst, so there is that. I wasn't really sure where this book was going to go, and to be honest, I was a little surprised in the direction it took.
This book felt a little more one dimensional with the characters than the previous books and in a way, I felt like things were wrapped up just to finish everything in the time allotted. I felt like we spent a lot of time in the previous books introducing things and describing things that when push came to shove, were not really important in the scheme of things. For example - the whole West Side vs the East Side. Yes, Falllon was able to make some improvements like the clinic, but it felt like that was going to be a BIG thing after the first book. It was little things like that that to me ended up just kind of being filler.
With that being said, the book kept my interest, had enough action to stay exciting and left me feeling like things ended up okay in the end.... and the familiar...THAT was awesome :)
So - all in all....not bad.
Good trilogy
