About this listen

All this Scottish grump wants to be is

Alone

But I need his help....

When a swarm of mail-order brides and his ex-fiancée invade Alban Scotswolf's small shifter town, no one can blame the giant war vet for deciding to retire to his centuries-old cabin in the mountains. This is a tranquil place meant for him, and him alone. Per tradition, no she-wolves are allowed there, and that’s the way he likes it. All he wants to be is alone.

So, how aggravated is he when he finds us squatting in his cabin?

Me, a single mother, hurt and broken after escaping from my abusive ex. Plus, the vulnerable daughter I’ve sworn to protect.

All Alban wants to be is alone.

But I need his help to heal from my wounds—the ones on both the inside and the outside.

Will he give it to me?

Her Scottish Hero is a seriously steamy, contemporary shifter romance featuring

· a Scottish grump who only wants to be alone

· a polite and innocent single mother who needs his help

· a small Scottish town with lots of brawny male wolves in need of brides

· tons of Marmite

· And an adorable girl wolf who’s hoping her gentle mother and her new grumpy best friend will give her the family she’s been praying for all along.

That Scottish accent

Her Scottish Hero
By Theodora Taylor

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 stars story
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars narration

I’m a fool for Scottish accent. The narrators in this book did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. I will say that if you’re not used to the narrator, Will Watt you may need to slow down the speed. He already talks fast and his thick accent makes it difficult at times. This in no way bothers me. In fact, I love it.

The FMC Lenora all she wants to do is protect her daughter, and all I wanted her to do was, to run, to leave, to get as far away as she could from her husband. He is terrible. The MMC Alban… swoon!! He’s a shifter wolf and super grumpy. But the banter between Lenora, her daughter, and Alban was hilarious. I loved seeing Alban interact and bond with Dori.

Holy Fek 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Finding good narrators for Audible romance books is incredibly difficult. You can have a great book, but a s****y narrator and it can ruin the experience. I was nervous, because Clementine Dove is the GOAT. This book, I am blown away. The narrators, AMAZING. I’m already a Theodora super-fan, but now I have to find more books narrated by J.Y. and Will.
This will be a book I’ll listen too again!

Alban is my favorite Scottish Wolf,

Her Scottish Hero is a connected stand-alone book by Theodora Taylor and the third in the Scottish Wolves series. This book is about the Scottish pack’s Beta, or pack defender, and the Queen’s older sister. Alban Scottswolf escaped the pack’s village because he doesn’t want all the changes the new Queen was making. He went up the mountain to his cabin where he found Leora and her daughter. They had escaped Leora’s cruel mate and had stopped to rest at the cabin to rest when Leora was injured on the journey. Alban and Leora had many hoops to jump through on their journey to their happily ever after. I think I liked this Scottish wolf best of the three. He was always open to supporting his mate any way he could, rather than being overly inflexible like the previous heroes in this series. I loved the audiobook. The narrators were wonderful. This is a simple story for those guaranteed warm fuzzies, not for deep philosophical thinking. I would recommend it for readers who love contemporary paranormal romance from authors such as Lyndsay Sands. I am voluntarily submitting this honest review after listening to an advanced complementary copy of this audiobook thanks to Valentine PR and Etch Entertainment.

Perfect story

I do love a shifter sorry and this series is wonderful. This is my second book in the series and I just keep falling for each one of these guys.

Alban is the perfect mix. From the beginning I knew that he was going to be one of my favorites in this series.

Theodora Taylor is great at world building and bring you into the book. The development of the characters is amazing and you can feel the characters.

I had the opportunity to listen the audiobook and it was wonderful. It is a dual narration and both narrators brought the characters to life. Will Watt did an excellent job. Love J.Y. Kora as amazing. I love listening to Theodora Taylor’s books in audio version. With the writing style and skill it a perfect platform.

Alban & Leora, likely my favorite from the series!

Her Scottish Hero, an Audiobook by Theodora Taylor is the story of Alban and Leora. She’s on the run from an abusive ex. She happens upon an isolated cabin where she and her daughter Dorie can rest and recuperate. The clan she comes from has dated traditions and rules. She can’t go back…she won’t survive. Little does she know that the cabin is the escape for Alban, a Scottish wolf. I enjoyed the dichotomy between the past and present, though they were definitely in the present. It made for an interesting, enjoyable story! HATED the cliffhanger ending.

This Audiobook was beautifully narrated by J.Y. Kora and Will Watt. That gorgeous Scottish brogue by Will is swoon worthy!! They both were fabulous! Though, Will spoke REALLY fast, and I often had to go back and re-listen to get what he said. Overall, excellent performances!!

Great Series TT

Damm! I really love this series. The accent was great and the characters made me feel i was living in a parallel world. These cliffhangers are killing me. So TT don’t keep me waiting much longer.

Nice

An excellent book takes some time to get to the action of prolonged burn. Then it gets good. When you get into the book is over fast.

Hello Grumpy Alban!

This is my review for the audiobook of Her Scottish Hero

Narrated by J.Y. Kora and Will Wyatt

Alban a beta wolf, the clans guard just wants to be alone. He is on his way to his cabin on the remote part of the forest by his clans village. He is reluctant to change especially the new modern technology thought it would be helpful. Anyways, Lenora hurt is going to her sisters village with her daughter. But being tired and injured getting to Scotland she seeks shelter. There she sees a cabin.

There we begging the back and forth banter of Alban, Lenora and her adorable daughter. I must say I had a hard time understanding Alban when he spoke fast. I had to listen slower and cracked up when I understood.
