Ok...

Story was Ok. Narration was good. Story seemed longer than it needed to be. And was a little anticlimactic.

A HEAVENLY DREAM FOR US PNR LOVERS

A brand new exciting realm which is so vividly described and explained in this first taste of the battle between Heavenly Angels and Dark Angels for people's souls and futures. Sharon Hamilton's writing ability transport's and immerses you into a world where good vs evil isn't as simple as it seems and it's an all-action supernatural fest for your senses, emotions and imagination and it'll leave you craving more.

There's heaps of drama and angst during the struggle for Daniel's soul, a dilemma for Claire as to what she will give up for true love and plenty of romance and sex during their bitter struggles.

And the great narration brought it all to life so it plays like you've got your own personal movie in your head…. but sadly without the bucket of popcorn.

Worth a credit? The story absolutely grabs you and won't let you go until the bitter end and I loved every minute of it….. so YES very creditworthy and I'm eagerly off to listen to book 2 now.

Oh my heavens!

I have read/listened to this book twice. I enjoyed it even more the second time around. I’m really a “SEAL baby” and although I enjoy the occasional paranormal here and there it’s not what I usually go for. I wasn’t surprised that I enjoyed Sharon’s paranormal rendition of the heavenly kind because I expected this book to be no less than her SEAL Brotherhood Series. Sharon didn’t disappoint! I enjoyed it so much… my heart aching for Claire all the way to the unexpected end! I loved the final twist that puts everything in its place as it should be.

I think that the hierarchy of the characters was very cleverly thought out and the way in which the two worlds interact was expertly played out so that you could actually think it a possibility! You’re given amazing visions of the heavenly world and its day to day business so to speak, then you’re thrown into the underworld and it putrid inhabitants and their daily goals. Caught in the middle is Daniel, wonderful, sexy, sensitive, Daniel. As always I never give spoilers and this is no different, just going to add that although different it was just as enjoyable as Sharon’s other books that we have all come to know and love.

Sharon doesn’t just deliver a wonderful hero and heroine, she always gives us really interesting secondary characters you just want to know more about. Once again her ability to make you lose yourself in a world so different to your own is unsurpassable. You will get lost in it, you will enjoy it and you will love the characters, it’s inevitable!

If you are lucky to also have the audio version, again you won’t be disappointed because J. D. Hart is a wonderful story teller. He does “pain” so well that you will feel it! I see it as a “Radio”. Sharon creates the intricate circuits and places the chips and wires in the right place not forgetting a single piece of the hardware and then JD is the electricity that flows through each and every one of those cleverly situated circuits. AND BAM! You have a song, a play, a dramatized story of love and pain, of fear and hopelessness. Together they are MAGIC!

Heavenly Lover...couldn't ask for more.

Would you consider the audio edition of Heavenly Lover to be better than the print version?

I think it's better because of the voice talent reading it. JD Hart brings the characters to life!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Of Course Claire! She's torn and doesn't know what to do at first. It reminds me a lot of a normal persons life the struggle.

What does J.D. Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brings them to life! He gives them a voice. He makes them real. Even his girl voices are awesome :D

Any additional comments?

I would recommend this book to everyone! Please give it a shot! It is worth it. Keeps you tied into the story from the beginning. You keep listening to learn what happens to Daniel and Claire.

heavenly

Would you consider the audio edition of Heavenly Lover to be better than the print version?

Yes, I think adding JD's voice made a big difference for me.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Heavenly Lover?

Listening to Daniel after he found out that Claire is not human, heartbreaking.

Which scene was your favorite?

My fave scene was where Daniel was reading to the children form the book he illustrated.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I could not wait to go back to listening to it.

Any additional comments?

A sweet, sweet story, very different from any I read in the fantasy angels genre. Daniel and Claire are made for each other, Josh was a great nemesis. I can't wait to listen to Underworld Lover.
