Publisher's summary

Somebody wants her sister dead....

FBI Special Agent Ann Duncan knows how to face down danger, but once again, she's not the target. Her baby sister, Joy Davidson, has stumbled upon a conspiracy and made some powerful enemies.

Luck and God's grace help Ann save her sister the first time, but she knows the bad guys will try again. With Patrick on a university tour and perhaps the most important case of her career weighing upon her mind, Ann must find the strength, wisdom, and heart to find out who wants her sister dead, what Joy discovered, and how to stop the conspirators. Ann instinctively knows that if she fails, the Davidson case will only be the first of many tragedies.

SHE WOULD RISK IT ALL FOR HER SISTER

Compelling story of the love for her sister, and the length she goes to find out why someone is after her., and wants her dead. Does it has something to do with Joy job at the animal clinic and the conspiracy that is going on. The narration by Elizabeth Perry brought this story to life with the emotion that the writer had written.a delight for readers to listen to

Another great story for this series

This case gets very personal for the Duncans when Ann's sister finds herself in a life or death situation. Great story! This was a great read. I love a good mystery and adventure. I read the eBook quite some time ago and it is such a good read I enjoyed it as much listening to it now. This book added the special quality of being a clean, Christian story. Looking forward to the next one.

The narration was very good. Brought the characters and story to life.

This case hits too close to home...

The Davidson Case is the third book that I've listened to in the Heartfelt Cases series from Julie C. Gilbert and I think it's easily my favorite. The suspense was more interesting and I kinda had to chuckle at the somewhat casual it's-all-in-a-day's-work attitude Ann and Patrick have toward being kidnapped and tied up.

I enjoyed the variety of angles that made up the case, which, at first, seem like they couldn't possibly be connected. But, I think my favorite aspect of The Davidson Case was getting to see more of Ann's family. Oh, and as a pet lover I really liked the occupation that Julie C. Gilbert chose for the sister.

I had no real complaints with the audio production and I think that I enjoyed the story much more as an audiobook than I would have in print or as an e-book. All in all, not a bad way to spend three and a half hours.

(I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. All opinions are entirely my own.)

Good clean suspense

I liked this this book a bit less than the first two in the series, but I emit very much. This is a great series and good enough that I will listen to them again.
It is getting harder and hard to find good, clean suspense. It’s always great to find a new author to listen to.

The Davidson Case

Special Agents Ann and Patrick Duncan continue to take on cases. When Ann’s sister, Joy, stumbles upon some strange happenings at work, things get very personal... there is an attempt on Joy’s life. Can Ann unravel the case before its to late?

I really enjoy Julie C. Gilbert‘s writing. The storyline is well thought out and the characters are likable. My interest was kept throughout.

Elizabeth Perry did a great job with the narration. I wouldn’t hesitate to listen to more of her work.

I love this detective series!

Like the rest of the books, I really liked this one. The Heartfelt cases are short books, but each one is well developed, with lovable characters, and non-stop action. I would love to see this author try a longer crime novel.

A great story with a bit of an edge

This story kept me listening, a bit of suspense along with faith. The stories are best listened to in order but it's not necessary.

Book 3 of Heartfelt Cases series

The Davidson Case by Julie C Gilbert

Heartfelt Cases book 3.

Julie C Gilbert has another winner on her hands. FBI couple Ann and Patrick are working in separate cities but find that their cases are intertwined.

These books are full of intrigue, action, mystery and faith. Even though the book is short, it weaves good characterization and a good story-line. You do not feel that the book is being rushed to a conclusion. This is definitely a great series.

I was gifted this audiobook, but was not asked for a review. This review is voluntary and my honest opinion.

Another Religiously orientated story

Author gave me this book for free in exchange for a Review. I bought the first book in series so I had a feel for the characters. I am a spirital person, but everything in it's place. This author basically writes a mystery novel around religious thoughts, prayers, etc. Not the other way arouns.
So much religious content that it interfered with actual story. Did Not finish either of author's books and will not Ever read another story by this author
