About this listen

I was abducted.

They took me from my mates and threw me into a cell with a monster.

But they should have known I’m the biggest monster of them all.

With more and more females disappearing, I need to find out who is really behind all the kidnappings and experiments. But what I discover will test my mates and me…and from the betrayal...hate will bloom.

I have new allies, new enemies, and a whole lot of bodies piling up.

Are you scared of me? You should be.

Self-absorbed

I really do not like the main character; she has the God syndrome and if one more of her mates recites more sickening praise of the woman I will throw up. The storyline is interesting if that sickening praise of the main female character was omitted. Narrators did a great job.

I freakin love this series!

I want the third book to be out on audible already so damn bad it’s scary. It’s hard to find books like this written with an adult audience in mind. I am too damn old to read about high school kids so KA Knight, your f’ed up mind is my paradise because I love this shit. This one was better than the last!

What Happens

As always K.A. Knight does an amazing job with the story and characters. wonderful book. I cannot give this a 5 star because of the end.....to many unanswered questions for me. I hope there is a part three....

What a sequel!

I looooved book 1, Rage, of K.A Knight's Her Monsters series on audio and book 2, Hate, was just as good!! I thought the narration was on point, that both Celestine and Jason did superb jobs. I loved that even though Jason had so many male voices (more than book 1) to do, that he still changed them slightly so we could tell the difference before they said their name. It impressed me even more than it has done before, especially how different he sounded with the vampire vs Griffin vs Dume for example haha. I think Celestine did a better job in this one than book 1 with her inflections and emotions. I really felt this one (not that I didnt with book 1) but she really brought Dawn to life.

In terms of the story, I think I actually liked book 1 better, but only slightly. I loved that we get to see more from Dawn's other mates and get more onscreen time with the mates she has already met. I loved her reunion with Nos btw. So freakin sweet in a book filled with rage, death, and gore. I thought the backstories were great and getting to learn more about these monsters was super intriguing and only made me want more. I loved the snark and laughter we get with Aska and technology, with Lucifer's nickname, with Magnus and no one knowing at this moment what he truly is. I felt so bad for Griffin in this one, but did think he got a majority of the book in terms of the various mates. Not that it took away from my love of it, just an observation that hopefully some of the others get more onscreen in the 3rd and final book. I think, for me, the reason I would give this 4.5 stars instead of 5 stars for the storyline is because I thought sometimes the steamy scenes outshone/overpowered the story. I think it was while she was in her cell and she went back and forth with the various guys and because of how the chapters were broken up it felt like she was nonstop having sex with them. I love steamy scene, don't get me wrong, I just think how it was sequenced and the frequency in that span was a tad overwhelming. Like if you have too much of a good thing in a short amount of time it diminishes it. Its better that they are somewhat spread out so when they do happen they are more impactful/special. Hopefully that made sense, it did in my head 🤣

This series gets s 5/5 from me, I am like the other reviewers, cannot wait to see what K.A Knight does in book 3 with how this story ended. I won't give away any spoilers, but I hope this big baddy and the battle that will come will be even bigger than what Dawn and her monsters had to endure in Hate. I also hope Magnus is revealed sooooon because I want him and Dawn to connect ❤️❤️❤️

Hate

Loved this book. I like how everything she went through and her men just made them stronger and did not destroy none of them. I can not wait until the third book comes out because I am going to grab it up. plus I love how it had a voice for the woman and a voice for the men not just one person narrating this book.

broke the bonds

I WANT MORE. this is not a faint of heart series. it is dark, it is gory, it is ROUGH. for the delicate it may be too much sex, it may be too much violence. but the overview did say it was meant for Monsters 👹. It is Rage and Hate, and it is glorious. I loved every moment, every thrust, every time.

Dark and Sexy!

I loved this book! Lots of men, Lots of fighting, Lots of Sex and so much more! Definitely on the darker side, I'm not used to my FMC being more of an avenging villian (still good in the end). Ohh and did I say LOTS OF SEX! They are all beautifully broken and that holds them together. Worth the listen (maybe not in public, again brutally sexy and steamy)!
