Harmony Black is much more than your average FBI special agent. The narrator put way too much energy into the various voices. They were all too loud no matter what volume your device was set.
If it weren't for that it would have been enjoyable.

This was a very interesting book. The plot and characters were different than I’m used to, But unique jut the same. I am looking forward to the rest of the series!

I enjoyed the story highly. I also found narrator very good. Her take on the different characters was very interesting, especially Jessie. I look forward to the author's next one!

The main character in this book, Harmony, slash, Smash and dice their way through the world, one monster at a time.
And I had a good time listening all about it!

easily as good as the faust series except I grow attached to narrators. I will say though this book was great in every way. author sets up his plots perfectly.

Very happy to have stumbled upon this. Did not think the genre would appeal, and yet story was thoroughly enjoyable. No fluff, nice pacing, kept interest throughout. Ending was distinct and also opened door for next volume in series. Didn’t want it to end.

Side note: really gratifying to see strong female leads & diverse team working together constructively, eg. no time/pages wasted on silly pettiness & infighting which plague, and detract from, so many of today’s stories. Extra kudos to the author & narrator for a job well done.

There are some paranormal/fantasy aspects to this novel, but they are not overwhelming. The narrator has an incredible voice range. Some listeners will likely feel she over performs. There are too many great audiobooks available to justify the time this one takes. NOT recommended!

Good FBI crime novel
