Nicole is, without a doubt, the oddest creature I've ever met. As far as therapists go, she's pretty damn good‚ even if her methods are out there. Logan is, without a doubt, the most fascinating man I've ever met. As far as billionaires go, he's hardly typical. He's practically allergic to the indoors, stubborn to the extreme, and an absolute overprotective teddy bear when it comes to his daughter. I'm well aware that he thinks I'm a bit of a weirdo. And frankly, I'm good with that status quo. The last thing I need is to develop an ill-advised crush on the gorgeous workaholic. So, when the distracting man manages to trick me into letting him set the stakes for our little challenge, I know I should just walk away.... But I don't.

This was a fun, quick listen. The narration was pretty good. There were a couple of times when the male narrator sounded like he really increased the speed of the dialogue. I wasn't sure if that was his plan to speak faster, or if he was trying to show that Logan was excited, or convey some other emotion.

I liked Logan and Nicole as a couple. I loved their banter. I thought it was great about Logan's dedication to and relationship with his daughter. I was surprised by the bit of danger that showed up.

I appreciated that Nicole was able to talk Logan in off the ledge. I didn't think he would respond like he did. I knew he would react like he did.

A sweet, sexy romance that I completed in a few hours. I would give this book 3.5 stars. I did enjoy it more than book 1.

This is second in a series, but totally stand alone. I really enjoyed it. I listen to books at work all day and like to have no angst, funny, and of course sexy books 😜 with great HEA! Definitely worth listening too!
