fantastic

I read the reviews and they were positive with small critiques. After purchasing this book I found nothing I did not like the mc was not arogant or overly macho at all. his power came from training and a vloodline we do not know yet. there were no 20 minute cringy sex scenes but for one the most beautiful girl in the universe had small boobs not monsterous. wow mr author ...living on the edge. lol loved it. yes 3000 yo gf must know what they want not childish. all good in my opinion. the story and plot and writing all great. and very unique. writing style similar but story is very good and new.
the narration was super. both narrators did excellent. Ella's accent I could listen to all day.
where is book 2, 3and so on.

Fantastic start to a series!

In short, Rangers Apprentice meets harem lit. Pretty awesome match up. I’m looking forward to more in the series!

A great series

I am waiting for book three as this was a great read. I hate leaving reviews but this series deserves a good one.

performance was awesome

if you took out the sex this might be an okay teen book.
storyline was kind of all over the place Street orphan doesn't want to commit crimes but he's a street orphan somebody comes along offers them training more training then doesn't want to do training wants to be in the woods when he grew up in the city somehow knows about farming yet he never did any of that

story ok, writing less so

I enjoy the stories that Xander comes up with, but his writing is a work in progress. Mostly telling and not much experiencing the story. Some overly macho moments, but less so than some of his other work,

3000 year old women acting like 13 year olds

I was enjoying the storyline until he met a couple of older ladies. the whole loner theme was doing great but got ruined (imo) whenever he interacted with the opposite sex. as well for his character and personality, he was too easily manipulated by them. the Travler, so far is only book where MC sticks to his guns and doesn't capitulate to whims of opposite sex.
