About this listen

A Top 100 Amazon best seller

From Wall Street Journal best-selling author Giana Darling comes a forbidden, angst ridden romance about a good cop and the MC princess he has lusted over for years....

They say one action doesn’t define you.

I killed a man. Stabbed him in the neck and licked the blood off my lips after I did it.

Still, one action doesn’t define you.

I could have called anyone. My father, the Prez of The Fallen MC, our family lawyer, my best friend, Lila, or my brother, King.

I didn’t.

Instead, I called Lionel Danner, the police officer renowned for taking down the Nightstalkers MC. The man who had been my father’s arch nemesis for decades. The man who hated everything I stood for. A man who had disappeared from my life without explanation three years ago.

I called him.

And maybe one action doesn’t define you, but killing a bad man and calling in the good changed my life and it sure as hell changed his.

The third book in the Fallen Men series. A standalone novel in The Fallen Men series.

I loved everything about this book. The story, writing style and narration were all great. I'm on to the next in this series!

Still loving this series!

The series continues with Harley Rose and Lionel Danner. The story interweaves the present with the past, the love between them and their families and the choices they make-whether good or bad. Tony Duran is an amazing narrator; Lucy Rivers wasn’t as memorable.

Engaging

I honestly didn’t necessarily have a voice in mind for Danner and HR so, kudos to Lucy and Troy for bringing these two characters to life!

If you’re only interested in listening to this book, I have to say that I would highly recommend that you read/listen to the 2 books prior to this one before delving into this book because there’s a lot of backstory that I feel you would appreciate more if you read the other books. BUT Giana does a great job of integrating previous info into the current book so, technically, you won’t miss too much.

Gahhhh this series is freaking everythingggg. I absolutely adored Lion and Harleigh Rose, the back and forth, the angst, the spice, it was all so dang good. I really loved the plot of this one too, infiltrating the rival club and taking them down from the inside was *chef's kiss*

My only complaint was that the timeline was a bit hard to follow at times... I feel like had I physically read this one it may have been easier, but trying to piece everything together chronologically left me a bit bewildered at times.

Wrath was amazing. I kept seeing people mention wanting his story and all I could think was why in earth would you want a rival club's story? But listening to this story, I finally understood. That man is a god among men and deserves a story right along with the rest of the Fallen Men.

The audio was so good. Jason Clarke was incredible and I loved Lucy Rivers too. It also includes the Fallen Son bonus story at the end, so yay!

Once again, Giana is my QUEEN! I want to be HR! And Lion?! I just can't handle it. This was so incredibly written, and it kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire novel. I am so obsessed with Giana and these Fallen Men!

I LOVE THE FALLEN MEN

So I wanted to love this one more, but some of it was a big dragged out to me, but I got that point was needed to be difficult. Infiltration is one thing, different than a overall war. I didn’t think Lionel was going to be into BDSM. So that was a surprise lol. I wasn’t sure about Harleigh, as her brother was raised by the same mom, but he turned out vastly different and more sure of himself. Not sure why she felt different and not more straight forward about being her own person and voicing her desires.

Still a good read and I devoured it!

And another one!

This is my least favorite book in the Fallen Men series.

The narration is fine, I just didn't love this couple as much as the other ones, but there is still some pretty good spice and no matter what I love this series and this world.
