Setting good boundaries is

Good Boundaries is an excellent source of problem solving in any relationship, especially with a narcissist. Knowing yourself and what you are comfortable with is an important first step in understanding your boundaries.
Define what boundaries are important to you such as physical, sexual, emotional, time, communication, and material, The frustrating thing about reading this book about a narcissist and the best personal survival makes me feel hesitant to share anything truly personal until you are positive your new love interest is not a narcissist. Self care is important to protect yourself for your future survival. If talking, counseling, and communication, just doesn't work, walking away is an option. If leaving the relationship is the option you choose, do it in a safe, planned way such as saving money so you can start over, and having a place to go and a way to support yourself. Do not tell a narcissist your plan to leave the relationship as that person will make it more difficult for you to leave.
