I Bought Next Book Midway

Alistair, Yekong and Ghost/Robert are back joined with sisters Callista and Elizabetta and Alistair's chosen/adopted human family. There are twisted plots to take over the world, attempted and accomplished murders and many lives saved, action and adventure. That's as close to a spoiler as I'm going to get. A C Oliver's Narrative is mostly good. Yekong's slower diction eventually bled into Alistair's character's voice which made things kind of confusing sometimes, especially when Alistair used words that came from the naturally larger vocabulary of one comfortable with speaking English, rather than someone who isn't like Yekong. Let's just say, it was good enough that I already bought the next book😁.

Perfectly short read

Good continuation of the story. Can’t wait for book three. Tia was the perfect read for this weekends road trip.

The mad man is back, and he's brought his A game

JB

Conclusion? I say nay. It is not so, because I KNOW there are more books waiting to happen. If book one was good, then this book elevated its game to a sickening high standard because it has escalated everything by turning the volume up to 13. 11 is for wimps and simps, 12 is too mild to be wild, but 13 is total obliteration. Ghost is just fantastic, and I'm really starting to appreciate the other secondaries, they all get fleshed out to an amazing degree. The story steps up too, and the violence, thank God, isn't diminished in the slightest. No punches get pulled, and several are wearing brass knuckles.

Oliver steps up too, only a couple of times I caught him blending a couple of voices together. That is utterly forgivable due to the great performance he provides.

I can't wait to see what happens next!!!!

awesome action

Warning:
Just like in book one, there is violence so please do not read if it is a trigger for you.

OMG, Ghost and the Midnight Sky was so much better than book one of the series, The Hunt Begins. So much character development that you can feel the disdain, mistrust and the over protectiveness from each person. There were times during the story that I agreed with the assessments. For example, I also believed that Yekong was too obsessed with Cynthia. Like seriously, William is family too, what about him! I also loved the fact that the story took you through the different perspectives from the main characters.

AC Oliver did a much better job with this book in bringing the characters to life and staying in character for them. It was a lot easier to follow who was who this time around. That creepy scary voice that was used for Alistair at the beginning of book one, he brought back at the end for Ghost! Awesome work!
