Publisher's summary

Stop letting anxiety run your life.

If you're like one of the millions of Americans who suffer from anxiety and panic attacks every year, you probably spend too much time in your own head. Though our minds are great places to solve complex problems, they're borderline destructive when it comes to handling fear and anxiety.

The reason for this is simple: as perplexing and terrifying as it may be, fear is but a feeling, and you cannot "solve" feelings. All you can do is choose to focus on them or let them be.

Unfortunately, so many of us opt for the former route, overanalyzing fear endlessly, helplessly plunging ourselves into further spirals of darkness and anxiety. Not only is this no way to live, but it's also no way to approach fear, for until we break out of such apprehensive thinking, it will only continue to drag us down further and further.

Thus, in order to alleviate anxiety, we must break free from these fear cycles. But how?

That's exactly what you'll discover in this audiobook. As you listen to this relatable self-help title, you'll learn:

  • What anxiety is and where it comes from
  • Why we keep perpetuating our anxiety, even when we know it doesn't serve us
  • Ten helpful tactics for mitigating acute episodes of panic and anxiety
  • How to develop an overall lifestyle of calm and inner peace

Ready to get started? Then grab your copy today and start making those fear cycles a thing of the past.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Lots of great strategies

Oh my gosh. I wish I had this book years ago. It's packed with lots of great information, tips and actions to take to get yourself to stop thinking yourself into fear, anxiety, etc. I know it's good stuff because some of it I've learned and applied elsewhere. This book offers so much more than the little bits I've gotten from other sources.
Chapter 26 is powerful and sage advise.

Right to the point

A really practical really helpful guide to dealing with anxiety. Super helpful and interesting especially as a software engineer. The author is a fellow nerd and he brings that very interesting perspective to how he recognized and tackled his own anxieties. Easy to listen to he has a nice voice.

Practical and very informative!

One of the best anxiety books out there. This author proves that conquering anxiety isn’t just possible, but it’s rather easy. As easy as you allow it to be at least. I really appreciated this author's approach in dealing with these overwhelming feelings that can often times control the way we show up for the worst. The author provides a detailed analysis of why we have anxiety over events in our life, and provides readers with a proven and tested process for combatting this anxiety. The real-life stories are captivating and provides you with a unique perspective so that you can better understand how to work these techniques into your own daily life. In total gratitude for this book - very powerful and helpful and transformative. It's a must listen.

A Must-Have Book to Help With Anxiety!

I really enjoyed the captivating way the subject of anxiety was dealt with in this book. So many books on this subject are truly dry and not so helpful in mitigating fear and anxiety. It allowed me to stop and ask myself if I was visualizing myself into greater anxiety, and it’s true that I AM doing this to myself! I am giving too much power to negative thoughts and getting trapped in the endless loop of having anxiety for having anxiety, tumbling into the rabbit hole of hell. This book is refreshing and insightful and I will absolutely be applying this advice; I have already started! Definitely a must have if you suffer with this issue – especially if you’ve listened to the classic, ‘visualization technique’ in the past and can't figure out why it's not working. Thanks, Brian!

Extremely Helpful!

Having friends who deal with anxiety like this is why I read this book. I found it incredibly helpful that the author used his own stories and life experiences to help us understand what someone is feeling when they're having a panic attack of sorts. I always want to be able to help and this book gave such practical well researched tools and advice on how to not only live with it but overcome it. I think it is a very timely and needed book, I highly recommend it!
