Tate & Chasen

Tate presents himself as an Alpha because he does not believe he would ever have the man of his dreams, his best friend's brother Chasen. They already like each other but they have more to learn about being together in a relationship. A great story.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Furbitten Brother Furbitten Falls Alpha's, Book 2

Chasen is at his brother's wedding when he gets a sniff of something that calls him..his fated mate. To his surprise it is his best friend, Tate, who is has always thought was an omega. The urge hits strong and they become involved. Chasen has to come to terms that his bff is his and understand why he hid that he was an omega. But the pull is strong and it's hard to hide from his family. Then Chasen says something that makes Tate extremely hyper and threatens their relationship and family.
Wesley Paul is a fantastic narrator whose voce pulls you into the story and keeps you enthralled.
Fantastic audio and story.

cute story!

fun performance, good storyline, relatable characters

my only gripe is that I was pretty unimpressed with Tate’s tantrum and subsequent walking out on Chasen after an initial mishap. yeah the circumstance was upsetting, and definitely some hurt feelings are warranted, but he barely gave Chasen a second thought, let alone any opportunity to make things right. which he did literally that same morning

chasen should have told tate was his plan was too. could have entirely prevented the plot tension in the 2nd half. an example of the only major plot upset could easily be resolved with a single conversation, and a bit of emotional maturity. I guess you can write it off that both characters have only ever wanted each other so they have the emotional IQ of teenagers – which is about how mature they act

oh well. still a cute story, and it’s short enough that any gripes don’t really detract from the story on the whole

A Great Misunderstanding

I enjoyed Furbitten Brother very much. It’s amazing how our heart’s desire, can often, as they say, have been right in front of us all along. Chasen and Tate have been flirting with each other for years. Chasen believed Tate to be an alpha, so never took it too far. The day of Chasen ‘s brother’s wedding. Tate can’t find his heat suppressant pills. That combined with a full moon, leads to trouble. Tate’s omega scent is revealed and Chasen knows he has found his fated mate. Chasen claims his fated mate and things go great for awhile. Misunderstandings can cause a lot of trouble. They certainly do for Chasen and Tate. Root for Chasen and Tate. Join them in Furbitten Falls and see how it all turns out. Thank you Preston, for a most enjoyable book. Well done narration by Wesley Paul.

An Omega with a secret

This is one of the best Preston Walker book I have heard and/or read in quite a while. It is fairly angst free, with just the normal amount at the denouement.

Tate is an Omega who has been passing for an Alpha thanks to the heat suppressant pills he's been taking for years. He feels that the 3 brothers are like his only family, regardless of the fact that he is completely infatuated with Chasen, his best friend's brother. He fears that if he quits taking the medication, he will find his true mate, and they can't possibly live up to his love for Chasen.

Circumstance align themselves, and the day he misses his pill, Chasen scents him right away. The brothers are confused because Tate had always been an Alpha, so some feelings are hurt along the way. But, like many newly fated pairs, their relationship moves quickly, and things are going great. That is until an unintentional forgotten lie of omission changes their relationship and challenges the basic foundation upon which it was built.

However, any Alpha worth keeping will do everything within his/her power to make sure their Omega is safe and happy. This is true between Chasen and Tate as well. Soon, all is right in their world, and the MCs get their HEA.

I felt like the narrator did a great job. His character differentiation is done very well, and he paced himself well, also.

Excellent

Fast paced and full of complications, this story was very engaging and easy to listen to. Both MCs were sweet and the narrator was perfect for both Tate and Chasen.
